The house was refurbished lovely; with high ceilings, large windows, it had a real comfortable relaxed feel. However, the outside space was not inviting to spend time in and lacked comfortable seating areas. The Hot tub was a great feature, but there was a distinctive lack of chairs outside around the tub for those in the party that did not want to go in. When we arrived our grandchildren and grown up children were disappointed to see that the Games Table as advertised in the info was actually broken and unable to be played upon, also the pool table in the conservatory only had one cue which was actually fit for playing . We felt that the owners should definitely have removed the broken games table as this item as due to its size it was a big obstacle in the room that blocked the front window, the pool cues need replacing. All the information needs updating as my husband tried to reset the heating thermostat as described in the info book when in fact the thermostat receiver had been disconnected from the boiler. The cost of the property reflects the time of the year, however we actually thought that this was over-priced for the facilities included. The failings we found are: 1) not enough chairs around dining table for 10 people 2) not enough juice/tumblers glasses for 10 people (only 3) (we had 4 children under 6 years in our party and there were 8 plastic champagne glasses) 3) set of knives in a knife block but not one would cut bread 4) general cleanliness overall was lacking as I had to wash all the towels as they smelt of mustiness/mold 5) central heating thermostat was broken and the radiators were full of air (very noisy) 6) in downstairs bathroom there is a lack of coat hooks for towel/dressing gown (very tight space needs improving)

All the rooms are beautifully-presented and offer high-quality furnishings and decor, with careful attention to detail throughout.

Entering into a central hallway with original floor tiles, you will find two sitting rooms, one warmed by a cosy woodburner and the other a relaxing area for kids to enjoy, including a multi-game entertainment table incorporating air hockey, mini pool and table football.

The kitchen with dining area offers a stylish room to relax with friends and family over a sumptuous meal, cooked in the modern fitted kitchen which has granite worktops, and perhaps afterwards a pool tournament in the conservatory to find the holiday champion.

The bedrooms are all fashionably elegant and offer a variety of bed configurations to cater for most requirements, including a ground floor double next to a family shower room, ideal for the less mobile in your party.

The conservatory leads out to an enclosed rear patio where you will find the luxurious hot tub, perfect for a little self-indulgence to soak away the stresses of life, whilst relaxing with a refreshing drink and planning tomorrow’s activities for the kids.

A short stroll from the door will lead you to the promenade, which you can walk along to the bustling centre of the town and visit one of the many good restaurants and cafes that abound, or just enjoy the sea and harbour with its soft sand and shingle beach and safe bathing.

Perhaps take a walk along the Wales Coast Path to enjoy some of the abundance of sea and bird life along the coast, or take your bikes and cycle along the coastal path for miles in both directions.

There is so much to do here, you will be planning your next visit long before your holiday ends.
