"We had a lovely relaxing stay at the property and would definitely visit again."
The Christmas themed welcome box was also a particularly nice touch and suprise. The cottage is extremely well equipped, very cosy and within walking distance of the nearby town. It is also conveniently located to many other attractions in Wales.

"We stayed at Little Nook over the Christmas holidays, and loved absolutely everything about it."
Great hosts, very responsive, who left lovely welcome gifts, the property was very clean, spacious, and with everything we could need for our stay.
Little Nook was in a great position, ideal, and central for those who like a walk around surrounding beauty spots.
Plenty garden, and parking space for 4 cars.

"Little nook is a fantastic property, in a picturesque village."
It's perfect for 2 couples who want to go on holiday together, with the completely separate bedrooms and on suite bathrooms . It has everything you need on holiday. Steve and Vic are the perfect host. They are there if you need them, but not intrusive . It's perfectly placed for any where you want to visit in north Wales, everywhere is within about a hours drive.i would definitely recommend little nook to anyone who is looking to visit north Wales

"We had a lovely stay at Little Nook."
Property is clean,comfortable and contemporary. The owners kept in touch via email before we went with ideas of things to do and places to visit which is a nice touch and we had a welcome pack too. The scenery in area is stunning,we didn’t have great weather but we managed to go to the places we wanted to go to. The village is very peaceful and the food at the Berwyn restaurant is superb and run by a very friendly couple. Added bonus is it a short stroll from the accommodation

"Beautiful, comfy and well equipped cottage."
Set in a quiet location with great views from the bedrooms.
We had a really nice time staying at the cottage and the welcome goodies from the property owners were such a lovely and generous surprise.

"Really enjoyed our stay at Little Nook."
Clean, comfortable and small outdoor garden shaded by grape vines and with the added bonus of a bbq.
The meal in the Berwyn Restaurant within walking distance was excellent.

"We stayed at Little Nook during August bank holiday week and it was absolutely wonderful."
It was really tidy, clean and the decor was modern with a home feel to it. The welcome gift and the booklet of useful information was a fabulous touch and a lovely gesture as we didn't know the area very well.
Little Nook was really well situated as we managed to travel to many places in less than an hour. We had a problem with the water pressure on our second day due to a burst water pipe nearby and Steve the owner keep us in the loop of what was happening with the water company and also kindly left a pack of water for us - it was really appreciated. Steve and Vic also recommended nearby waterfalls to try out!
The only downside was there wasn't a view from the garden of the beautiful scenery. You can only see it out the bedroom windows BUT the garden was stunning with the grape vines and roses over the pergola.
We would definitely stay here again when we are next in Wales. Thank you Steve and Vic!

"This was our second stay at Little Nook."
The property is clean and there are lots of facilities provided. Great to have ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms which are at opposite sides of the house. It is in a good spot for travelling to different areas and the on site parking appreciated.
Plenty of good places to eat including the nearby Blue Lion and in Llangollen.

"The facilities are first class."
Kitchen is well equipped and the two bedrooms and ensuites are well equipped, comfortable and we appreciated the shower. Everything is very modern and worked! The two bedrooms are upstairs and downstairs is spacious with the kitchen and a reasonable size living area and TV. We were only a single couple so for two couples would be more compact but still good. A good restaurant in town and a couple of good pubs with food within 3-4 miles.

"I stayed at Little Nook with my husband and two children and it was the perfect base for our stay."
The property was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the collection of board games!
The booking process was very easy and the property was just as described with lovely views. I really liked the layout with a bedroom and en-suite on either side of the property.
We had a wonderful stay and the location was ideal for visiting the many places of interest in North Wales.
I would love to come back in the future and will definitely be recommending Little Nook to family and friends.

"It was our first time visiting North Wales and we had a fabulous time."
The property didn't disappoint and was very comfortable and clean, with every amenity provided. The gifts on arrival were also very much appreciated. The surrounding area did not disappoint either, with lots of places to visit and lots to do and it was lovely listening to the sound of sheep in a nearby field, early in the morning.

"Little Nook was ideal for us ( two couples)."
The accommodation was spotless and well equiped, and is ideally placed for visiting numerous places of interest within the North Wales area. A good wifi connection was also very much appreciated. The one village shop is well stocked and the Berwyn Restaurant is a great place to eat and only a short walk away.

"A well presented cottage and very clean."
Beds were very comfy but the en suites are very cramped .
The Web site still shows there's a local pub but there isn't so that needs changing on the Web site .
Overall it was an enjoyable week there.

The building is an old converted barn building, so we have tried to make the most of the space that was available whilst also trying to keep the aesthetic of the building. This means that ensuites are snug, but the views from the bedrooms are stunning! The village pub closed suddenly earlier in the year. Sykes had updated the listing and emailed all existing bookings to advise of this- but hopefully you managed to find the two restaurant's in Llandrillo, or the pub in the next village along whilst you were here. "My friends and I stayed at Little Nook for 3 nights, and it was one of the most amazing experiences we had."
The place is modern but charming, and had everything you would need for a countryside getaway. Comfortable beds, nice showers, full kitchen, and a good collection of board games! As we are not familiar with the local area, the guides and welcome book available at the cottage was very useful, we ended up going on a few hikes and beaches recommended in the welcome book. We will definitely come back some time soon and can’t recommend it enough to others!

"A lovely place to stay!"
The layout is perfect for two couples, the two en-suite bedrooms being at opposite sides of the property, with a beautiful view to wake up to. Little Nook has a lovely seating area with the gorgeous scent of roses climbing through the grapevines. The reason for our stay was a trip to ZipWorld which is approximately 50 minutes away. Our only downside was we just didn’t stay long enough!

"Had a lovely stay at Little Nook."
The property was very clean and modern, bedrooms small but cosy but very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped but could do with bigger frying pans.
The only issue was that the local pub had recently closed but that is no reflection on the area as the village was stunning.

"The village pub has apparently been permanently closed since January."
Visually the cottage is stunning but the
upstairs rooms are small with restricted headroom and limited storage space.
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and had an excellent holiday.

"Great little cosy nook, well stocked and provisioned."
A good central location for either the coast, Snowden or even the city of Liverpool. But the village of Llandrillo is up a hill so it’s a drive wherever you’re going. Local hotel restaurant was good too!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Little Nook."
Beautiful Christmas decorations were provided, which added to the festive feel. There were lots of added extras which were really helpful, such as washing up liquid, extra toilet rolls, a tea towel, dishwasher tablets, sugar, tea, coffee and soap. We were visiting family in the village, so we already knew it was a lovely location, but the beautiful cottage made our stay even more enjoyable.

"One day post-holiday and we're already bluesy!"

Little Nook was the perfect 'hub' for a very active, outdoorsy, wintery holiday.
Located in a small village, it provided the perfect level of BLISS for a rural stay.
As keen hikers/walkers, my partner and I not only found Little Nook to be perfectly situated, but also found it to be the most warm and cosy cottage for that post-long-hike stay. Such bliss to come back to the fire and big comfy sofa after long wintery mountain climbs!
Eye to detail was very clear, from a little handbook packed full of recommendations for days out / food etc., to beautiful xmas decos and even a bottle of mulled wine for our arrival!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Nook. I'm already telling my friends and family to book up!!
...The only downside is that I don't live there permanently!! ;D

"We had a lovely weeks stay in Little Nook, beautifully decorated and it was always cosy warm."
Loved having the open plan so always together. There's so much to do our visits included Crich castle, Llangollen, Barmouth, Pistyll Rhaeadr, Zip world and Harlech castle.The owners are just a phone call away if needed. The only recommendation would be a lamp or dimmer switch for the lounge area.

"A sympathetic yet contemporary conversion makes for a very comfortable stay!"
Well equipped but could be enhanced with a few further items for optimal convenience. However Little Nook is a really lovely cottage for two couples or a small family in a quiet yet convenient location...walks from the doorstep and only a short drive from many interesting places. We would highly recommend Little Nook and the village of Llandrillo!

"We enjoyed our stay so much, we have just booked to stay again next year!"
The accommodation was just as listed and didn't fail to impress from the moment we arrived, the directions were clear and key pick up couldn't have been easier.
I have reduced mobility so it was great to have the open planned living area all on one level, with no steps to the lovely peaceful outdoor space; and once up the stairs (with handrails) the gorgeous en-suite bathroom with walk in shower.
So many lovely personal touches, welcome pack food parcel, books, games, cafetiere and a colourful booklet giving all the accommodation information and local interest sites and walks. We enjoyed all the village had to offer, local shop and neighbours selling apples for charity.
Thank you Steve and Vic for setting the scene for a lovely relaxing holiday, if we could just book the sunshine again for next year, that would be great!!

"We have enjoyed our stay at Little Nook."
The property is well laid out and just as described. We particularly liked the way that the bedrooms were accessed by different staircases at either end of the house
Good facilities and the owners kept in touch before, during and at the end of the break which was reassuring. Books, games, information and some basic food essentials were all provided as well as ample car parking space.
I would definitely recommend Little Nook.

"A wonderful property in a beautiful location."
The place was very modern and spotless with everything you require for your stay. The bedrooms were both comfortable with a view that was stunning when you opened the blinds when you first wake up. The owners could not do enough for you and were only a phone call away .A truly memorable experience and we would love to go back to stay again someday. Highly recommended.

"We had a fantastic time staying at Little Nook this summer."
Our two young children loved the cottage and it was a lovely space to be in. The hosts were very welcoming, we had special celebrations during our holiday and they left us some lvoely gifts which was so thoughtful! We also had a fab time at Lake Bala and local attractions.
I would highly recommend staying in Little Nook!

"We have just returned home from our stay at Little Nook, and what a charming little place it is!"
we instantly fell in love with it, beautifully decorated and very clean, and my oh my what a view from the bedroom windows! Our daughter especially liked her room which not only had an en-suite but its own staircase as well, she was beyond excited! We were welcomed with a thoughtful care pack of bread, welsh cakes, and milk in the fridge, for a long awaited cuppa. The owners have thoughtfully supplied everything you could need for a relaxing getaway, including both a washing machine and dishwasher. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Nook to my family or friends.

"Little Nook is a gem - a beautiful conversion which has, miraculously, preserved a trellis with mature roses, clematis and vines."
The outdoor space is small, well gravelled, and it's its own little world. Our daughter loved having her own staircase to her own room and ensuite. Sensible and nicely equipped kitchen space. Plenty of room for two big cars. Within an hour of both Lake Vernwy and Bodnant Garden, two of the most beautiful places in Britain, and so much else besides. Take a look!

"A lovely place in a perfect setting, with everything you need for a relaxing getaway as either 1 or 2 couples."
I would have no hesitation recommending Little Nook. We never met the owners but they sent us a polite email on arrival and before departure, to make sure all was well.
Make sure you take a trip to the nearby town of Llangollen and Chirk castle (National Trust property) whilst your there they are both fantastic.
