  • "The Bungalow is spotless and comfortable and a very relaxing place to be."

There are some beautiful views and a lovely garden. All you need is close by if you are elderly. We were very sorry to see that the Dudley Arms is closed, we had some tasty meals there on a previous visit. It was all perfect for our dog too. God willing we will return next year.

The only problem is the very narrow lane and driveway. Not suitable for SUV or large car. We had to park in the village away from bungalow. . The village friendly but pub now closed, little shop and one restaurant excellent. Would not return due to parking unfortunately. We had a lovely holida.

Hi. I'm sorry you were unable to park on the drive. We have a Q5 and transit van that we get on the drive. But I appreciate it can be tricky reversing on in a large car. I have also arranged for the hedge to be cut back further. Unfortunately the pub closed suddenly in January but we are hoping it will re open in the near future. Thank you for supporting our village shop and restaurant. Property Owner

Welcome goodies were appreciated. Only one minor flaw. Our little dog could escape through the two gates if we hadn’t put him on his training lead. Otherwise a welcome break. Thank you.

  • "We had a lovely stay at The Bungalow."

The cottage is compact and well equipped in both kitchen and entertainment requirements. We managed to cook a few nights in the kitchen and prepare lunches for days out. The garden was lovely to sit in and the decking. We loved the rural location - be warned the local cockerel likes to give you a wake up call! Close vicinity to shop with local produce and pub. Double room lovely and comfy, we found the single beds a bit narrow and the second bedroom quite small for a twin. We made use of the games and puzzles and loved the personal touches such as treats on arrival, soft blankets for colder evenings and doggy bowls for furry friends!

It has everything you need for a family of 4. Place is well maintained and placed a very quiet village. Reversing in for parking can be a bit tricky for a bigger car but not something that is impossible to do. Amazing experience and ideal if you want to stay outside snowdonia but want to be able to drive to most parts, only about 45mins drive away from the base point to do the hike too. Strongly recommend this place to anyone to stay.
