  • "It should be mentioned that the stairs are very steep, I had difficulty getting up and down."

The driveway was very disappointing, it had no drop curb, and I could not get in and out with my wing mirrors out, made it very difficult. Although the garden was dog friendly, it certainly needed grass cutting and generally tidying up. There should be a book in the house regarding house rules, I do not use e-mails unless I am expecting one. I did not get the e-mail from the owners till I got home.

  • "A very pleasant bungalow with a light airy lounge-diner and a decent kitchen with another small table."

The bedrooms were quite small and the staircase was narrow and steep (although the listing did warn us of that). The gateway into the drive was quite narrow - OK for us as our car is not a wide one. A few light bulbs were not working when we arrived. Well situated for exploring the North Wales coast.

  • "The accommodation itself was ok."

However there is a real issue with parking. I have a Hyundai Tucson and could only access the drive by folding in the wing mirrors and just missed the metal gate posts by an inch either side. The neighbours aren't happy with on street parking as they already have cars parked on the road from neighbouring streets. The owners need to widen the drive entrance for me to consider a repeat booking.

Enjoyed our stay but found the grass in the back garden overgrown not good for our dog or any dog would have found it difficult to clean up dog messhad to mow it myself hedges also need pruning that was a letdown needed to be tidied up before our stay

  • "Great location and nice, cosy property, with a very homely feel."

Facilities are good. Having a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and shower room and bedroom downstairs is a real bonus. Some features are looking a little tired, but overall great value for money and I would definitely recommend and use again.

  • "Plenty of small extras provided, that we would find useful during our stay."

Much effort had been given to providing those little things that the owners would like on their vacation and thoughtfully left them for us. However, the step narrow stairs and the tight vehicle entry width, along with the tiny downstairs bedroom, resulted in the low scores being awarded.

  • "It appeared that the owners we’re working on the property and I’m certain that once the bedrooms and garden are of the same standard of the rest of the property it will be excellent We found the driveway difficult to access because it is so narrow and cars parked on the street made it hard to get in."

It would be great to remove gate posts and widen the entrance for easier access Having said the above we loved our holiday were very comfy in our accommodation and so was our dog with his own bed and food bowls and enclosed garden We will certainly return to this property

This was unexpected and made us feel welcome. Thanks very much.

  • "The cottage was lovely and met our expectations, very quiet and safe area."

Lots of extras which was very thoughtful so no complaints.

  • "The house is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks here."

It is on an extremely quiet road and really close to main roads, amenities and attractions; we walked the 1.2 miles into Conwy. The house is well equipped and the owner was really helpful. The stairs are steep so not really suitable for people with mobility issues but there is a downstairs double bedroom and shower room so you might be able to get around this! I would also recommend slippers as the downstairs floors are wood and can be slippery in socks. The garden is a lovely outdoor space and we enjoyed sitting out in the sun for breakfast. All told, highly recommended for a family break.
