The property

Found on the outskirts of the bustling town of Deganwy, Croeso is a wondrous cottage, perfect for escaping to the coast of North Wales with your loved ones.

In reach of a wide variety of wonderful facilities, this cottage makes a great base for walking holidays, within close proximity to Snowdonia, you won’t be short of action-packed adventure here.

Enter through the front door and drop off your coats and collars in the porch whilst the dogs head to the back garden to play ball games where you can soak in the stunning scenery of North Wales.

At the centre of the house you can find the sitting room, with a lovely gas fire and ample seating for all, take a break here in the evenings to relax and unwind before venturing into town the next day to explore the wonders that North Wales has to offer.

Off the sitting room is the kitchen/diner, a lovely spot to enjoy some alfresco dining or food brought in from the built in barbecue in the back garden; ideal for summer evenings to bring the whole family together.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, featuring a king-size, a twin, and a single room, it’s a great layout for small families or a group after a restful night’s sleep.

Just outside the cottage you can find an abundance of fun, right next to the Bryn Estyn Badminton Centre and also the Llandudno Junction Community Club which often has a car boot sale on a Sunday in the summer months.

Deganwy is a fantastic area to relax, whether it's a dog walk along the beach, through Marl Woods, or up to the heights of the Vardre where you could walk up to the remains of Deganwy Castle and admire the far reaching views over Deganwy, Conwy, Llandudno and along the shores towards Anglesey.

The Castle View Public House is a lovely and welcoming local pub which serves great food, it lives up to it's name and is within walking distance from the cottage.

There are also many local parks which are within walking distance to the property.

Head into the town centre where you will be greeted by ample opportunities to dine on the seafront, be sure to stop at the marina where you can find boats setting sail and even take your own trip to sea at the Celtic Cruising & Snowdonia Sailing School.

If you’d rather stay land bound, Deganwy beach is a beautiful area with walking and cycling routes, or take a trip down the promenade to West Shore Beach, with stunning views out to Puffin Island and perfect for the dogs too.

Walk over to the market town of Conwy to dive into history, here you can find a magnificent 13th century fortress, the intriguing Smallest House in Great Britain, and the breath-taking Conwy Quay, a lovely day trip where you can end the evening in a delicious restaurant after some leisurely shopping and tourist activity.

About the location

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
