  • "We really enjoyed our stay here."

Lovely, clean and homely. Great location. The welcome basket was a lovely addition to have. Everything you needed for a kitchen were there (including tea, coffee and sugar. Did bring our own as we didn't know they'd be included) Nice view from the kitchen window too. Spacious living/dining room. Perfect size for a family of 6. Dining table chairs were a little awkward to get out, ok if all 6 chairs weren't needed, but 6 of us were staying and they were fiddly to get out. The internet wasn't great when it came to using the TV, it would randomly disconnect, but we weren't watching it that much, so wasn't an issue for us, might be for others. Great size main bedroom. We did find the mattresses in the main bedroom and the twin room were too firm for our liking, but the kids loved the bunk beds. Storage space was great to put clothes our clothes away (hung up or in drawers) Was nice to have a night light on the landing for our two children to have on at night time. Shower was spacious and had room to put some toiletries on the shower rack. Heating was easy to use and heats up the rooms very quickly so we didn't need to have it on for long. Nice little front garden, with picnic bench and fencing to make it more private. We will definitely be wanting to stay again and recommend to others.

Which are dust on towel rail in bathroom.shower pole that holds the shower head falls out which hit my head while having a shower. Double mattress make's a creaking noise on the left hand side. Single bed Quilt to small wake up through the night with the quilt on the floor so feeling cold. That's upstairs now down stairs kitchen we had Asda deliver our shopping only to find the freezer drawer's were frozen up so we couldn't open them. Internet may as well not bother kept dropping out. If I needed to use my mobile I'd have to stand outside for a signal. One other thing downstairs loo smelt and towel rail comes out the wall. So all in all not a happy break. An excellent base for exploring the area-10 mins from A55, 10 mins walk from centre of Town and 2 mins from sea. Only the eccentric tv stops it from being 5 star.

  • "We arrived at the property tired after a long drive and were delighted to see the owners had gone to the trouble of putting up christmas decorations."

There was also a thoughtful welcome pack left for us which was a nice touch. Previous feedback had some negative points that I do not agree with at all. This property is perfectly laid out and getting from the kitchen to the dining table really is no issue whatsoever. The furniture is perfectly comfortable so not sure what the issue was there either. The one thing I would agree with is the WiFi. The Internet connection is not very stable and signal tends to drop quite frequently which can be a pain if you are watching TV and the screen goes blank! However, that said, itvin no way spoilt are enjoyment and we had a fantastic time at this property. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Llandudno and we are already looking to book again in the summer.

The house was very clean and all bedding, towels, etc. were provided. A well-equipped spacious kitchen and a modern family bathroom certainly made the stay more comfortable for our family of five. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

  • "The house is generally o."

K but shows typical signs that the owners never stay there themselves. Our biggest problem was the TV. it has no freeview channels, only Netflix & NOWtv all provided by a feeble phoneline internet connection which randomly loses connection. We were there for the Queens funeral, a once in a lifetime event the like of which the modern world has never seen and the only way we could watch was on Sky news. So what happened?? it lost connection worse than ever and we missed large parts of it and were very angry indeed. Added to that is my husband is rather deaf and needs subtitles to watch anything and NOWtv has practically non, Netflix has all subtitled but only shows films etc. We did notice there is a rooftop freeview aerial socket by the window but the TV is nowhere near as the room is furnished back to front with having to steer round furniture with plates of food to get to the table by the window! Regarding the house, if we hadn't been so annoyed by the TV I would let the following go without mentioning that although the shower is very nice there is nowhere to put your items other than a caddy we found hung high up on top of the glass screen so you end up putting it on the floor. Also the bathroom has hooks hung on top of the door so high up (6ft) I couldn't even reach! Self adhesive hooks are easily fitted! Kitchen has no drawers or upper wall cupboards so cutlery is in a wire tray on the worktop. The dining table has really heavy clunky chairs that don't belong with it and wont push under side by side so they end up blocking the end of the room!

  • "The general quality of the property was great and a nice touch with the welcome pack too."

Comfort in the lounge area could do with being improved: sofa is very worn and sags when you sit on it so not particularly comfortable at all. The lack of a TV aerial and only having an Internet based service either through the TV or the nowtv stick was a bit of a hassle. Maybe we were doing it wrong but following fhe instructions we regularly had the nowtv stick freeze or you couldn't 'change channel' without turning it off; and turning off TV was sometimes hit and miss whether it did turn off via the remote or had to unplug it to turn it off. Small issues I know but we're a little annoying and iritsting after a couple of days. All in all a great property and location as a base to explore the area and snowdonia.

Lovely bonus of the welcome pack which was much appreciated after a Friday drive straight from school. Thank you 2 small issues, whether this was down to the wind but the front door kept leaking when it rained. The internet kept dropping out of the TV so couldn't use the Roku effectively, wasn't a problem for us as we'd brought our own fire stick.

  • "This accommodation is very clean and comfortable."

It's a convenient level walk to shops, restaurants and public transport. Views up the Orme and very close to the West Shore with sea glimpses. Parking is a real bonus. The accommodation needs space to store food (too many pots/pans etc) and a larder fridge would be good. It also needs a serving hatch because it's an assault course carrying plates/dishes of food through two doors, via the furniture in the lounge area to the dining table. I'd hate to imagine what it would be like for 6 people. We were only two. We normally eat out a lot on holiday but still being cautious during these times.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
