  • "Greystones is a well presented property which is good for a larger party booking."

The location isn't in the most scenic place but it is very convenient for the local beaches, Llandudno and Conwy. The interior has great communal spaces and comfortable bedrooms. In addition there is ample parking for multiple cars. There are loads of walks nearby as well as shops, pubs and restaurants.

  • "Lovely property, plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment."

Loads of space for 4 adults, all friends so space was important, and 2 dogs. The beds were very comfortable and so nice to have extra large bath towels. Perhaps I missed some information on your site as to the location of the property. I may not booked Greystones if I had realised where it was but no complaints about the actual house .

That said this is reflected in the price. All bedrooms and the lounge are quite a bit bigger than you would normally get. It worked well for us. Thanks

  • "Everything about the property is maintained fine."

But you are fenced in literally in the middle of buisiness road and train track, their was no feeling of wanting to sit outside, no views what so ever because of the positioning. Its somewere to sleep and eat, and thats it, forget the feeling of a holiday home, its none existant. Nothing is provided what so ever, a small bar of soap, no dishwash tablets, nothing!! We have never stayed in a holiday cottage, at over £800! And been asked to strip our own beds at the end, which should be part of the cleaning procedure after we are gone.I wouldnt recommended this property at that cost, and have no intention of returning.

  • "We have had a wonderful week at Greystones."

The accommodation was brilliant , plenty of space , clean , plenty of crockery and cutlery and even plastic plates , dishes and cutlery for the little one and the beds were really comfortable . It was also good that there was a safety gate at the bottom of the stairs and at the top . We had really good weather the first few days , so made the most of being outside . It was nice that the dog and grandson could play outside and we knew they were secure . Only 2 little moans ,we didn’t know when it was refuse collection day , as we could have done with putting the bins out , due to there being some rubbish in the bin on arrival . I saw the bin men arrive and ran out but he wouldn’t empty it , probably because it wasn’t outside the gate

  • "Perfect base for a multi- generational family holiday."

Wonderfully spacious and well equipped. The beds were very comfy, and the downstairs bedroom and shower room practical for older members of the family. As stated in the details, this is not a picturesque location , with road, railway and van hire business close by. But we were not disturbed by any noise. The outside area is totally enclosed and suitable for young children to play safely. Although the overall property was very clean and extremely well presented, our one concern was the baby equipment stored in the cupboard under the stairs . The highchair was covered in black dust and the Travel cot smelled very musty ( which did not disperse despite airing and spraying with antibacterial Febreze) This could easily be rectified by storing them elsewhere. Another helpful improvement would be a folder of information regarding instructions for appliances and refuse collection day. Thank you to the owners for a great holiday, they even arranged for sunshine all week!

  • "A lovely spacious property but, a couple of internal doors didn’t close properly, one of the living room radiators was leaking."

Lots of food between the sofa seat cushions and various cobwebs around the property. All that said this wouldn’t stop us booking this property again. Had a great holiday.

I'm very sorry about the slight leak on the radiator in the lounge, we have rectified that now and thank you for bringing it to our attention. With regards to the debris and cobwebs then I can only apologise that his wasn't up to standard. I will ensure that this is rectified and added to the cleaning roster immediately. In future please do let me know of any minor issues as above and I'll be more than happy to rectify this immediately for you whilst on your stay with us. Property Owner

  • "The location of this property is extremely poor, it’s in the middle of a car and van rental company parking lot with 20-30 vans around the property."

With the railway line very close on one side and the flyover for the railway line in front. A 15 minute walk to the beach or the town. The property is very nice and well maintained with plenty of utensils for cooking. I personally would not describe it as per friendly as your dog is not allowed upstairs or in the downstairs bedroom or on the lounge furniture which is leather they are not even allowed in the garden. There is a list of things that you are required to do before leaving which includes cleaning the oven, microwave and BBQ which I Don’t have a problem with but there was no cleaning equipment or products supplied. Overall a nice house in a very unsightly location.

  • "Good size and layout, comfortable beds and very clean."

There were 8 of us for part of the holiday and we had plenty of space. Helpful owners. Location is good - not far to either beach. One health and safety issue - the microwave was plugged in a cupboard over head-height. Lifting hot porridge or soup is very risky - especially for the elderly. One annoying issue, as a family of cooks, we struggled a bit as every knife was blunt. Apart from that, all fine and would go again. There is a noisy trainline nearby if that would bother you.

  • "Lovely large spaced house very comfortable beds."

Had a problem with the heating which was required mainly in the evenings but the owners sorted it quickly for us. Would recommend a few additions to help the less abled, a handle in the shower and a stool as an option to borrow together with a toilet frame. One holiday accommodation we had offered these to use if required. My parents are in their 90s and these would have helped. We chose this accommodation as it had a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor which was really useful for them. Would recommend.

House clean and tidy and beds very comfortable. Despite marketing, property was not dog friendly. Facilities poor e.g. BBQ / Patio doors difficult to lock / outside table no parasol / door fell off of wardrobe / back gate dropped - other minor issues within the house. Welcome details - emphasis on DO NOT LEAVE PROPERTY UNTIDY OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED. In our opinion poor listing of house by Sykes - Views include - flyover / trains going by and the landscape garden is Astro turf with grey slate. No email contact available for Sykes. We brought our dog along with us as the place stated pet friendly, upon our arrival we discovered rules regarding dogs which were not made clear on the information which was an inconvenience. It's ideally situated to explore the NWales coast Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey , all of which were less than an hours drive. The nearest shop was a 5 min walk, the beach 10 mins and Llandudno about half an hour. There's a lovely walk from West Shore beach through Deganwy to Conwy. The house itself has no Outlook but is situated in a quiet location. It's very spacious and 7 of us felt extremely comfortable. Dogs are allowed but only downstairs which isn't a problem as there is a downstairs bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped which we loved as we like to cook on an evening. The house was immaculately clean. I would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone staying in this area and would love to stay again on a return visit.

Spotlessly clean. Very close to the West Shore and a five minute drive into Llandudno town centre but it is walkable about 20 minutes. Don`t let the location put you off it is next to a Van hire company but this didn`t bother us a bit, it was very quiet and we loved our holiday home tucked in the corner. Not so with this property! It is so thoughtfully equipped with high quality linens, fixtures and fittings, plenty of storage and space. I honestly couldn’t fault the place. Perfect for families and dog friendly with fitted stair gates, children’s garden furniture, plastic crockery/cutlery and lovely enclosed garden. Most importantly it was also immaculately clean and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. The location is around a 20 min walk into Llandudno so a perfect base for visiting the area and touring around and a lot easier than trying to get parked in Llandudno! Good communication from the owners who are very friendly and helpful - we will definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed the log burner and the 3 toilets (2 bathrooms) were great too. Lovely garden, small but more than adequate for the kids games and football. In a brilliant location with a short 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and beaches. Llandudno is a gorgeous busy tourist town with something for all tastes. Our family had a wonderful week at grey stones in Llandudno. Also Craig was a fantastic host, although we didn’t meet face to face he was always on hand at the other end of the phone to answer our questions. Also a lovely touch with the nespresso machine and the welcome tea/coffee/milk and Welsh cakes - a real treat. We will definitely be back, thank you Craig and team.

Craig was brilliant, he popped round just after we arrived to introduce himself and to let us know he was just next door throughout the day if we needed him. I had to call Craig as we didn't know how to work the hob and he answered straight away and talked me through it. There is just 2 slight negatives i can say about Greystones, 1, the TV is a smart TV, which is great for Netflix, Amazon, You Tube etc, but you can't get the normal channels as there is no ariel, so its all run through WiFi, definitely would benefit from installing an ariel. 2, the house is not in the best location, its in a small cul de sac next to a few small business, so feels like your on a mini industrial site, that being said its easy access to Llandudno, Llandudno West Shore, Deganwy and Conwy. Dont let those 2 negatives put you off because the house was gorgeous and so clean.

We were delighted to find this property when searching on Sykes as the pictures looked great, and it did not disappoint. It has been tastefully decorated and is equipped with all you need for a relaxing week. All bedrooms are good sized doubles, with really comfortable beds, and all can be configured with either twins or king size beds. The self contained outdoor space was an added bonus for us with 3 young children. Equally, aside from the car and van rental next door, the house is on its own so the noise of our little ones didn’t disturb anyone! The property is located within walking distance of west shore beach (much quieter than the north shore beach) and the rest of Llandudno is only a short drive or a walk away. There is tonnes to see and do. We can highly recommend Fish Tram Chips for the best fish and chips! The host Craig was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had great communication with him prior to our arrival, and throughout the week. We would absolutely recommend Greystones (you won’t be disappointed) and look forward to visiting again soon.
