"Everything about the property was excellent and to a very high standard."
The owner was extremely kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and this made the holiday even more enjoyable.
-
"The apartment surpassed our expectations."
My husband and I felt really relaxed and comfortable in the apartment . We also found Wayne, our host, to be extremely helpful and considerate.
-
"This is the best apartment you could wish to stay in,75inch T."
V,Jacuzzi en suite bathroom also with rain shower this is a beautiful place to stay and not far from Sea front house in Llandudno. Wayne the owner was great at showing us how everything worked there is Sky Glass and lovely kitchen. Would highly recommend.
-
"We have stayed at this accommodation five times in the last few years."
As always the accommodation is immaculately clean. The facilities offered are first class with the Sky Glass 75 inch TV, comfortable sofas and beds, and luxurious showers and jacuzzi bath. The enclosed dog proof garden is perfect for our little Westie. Llandudno itself has lots of shops to look round and delicious restaurants to eat at. Wayne the owner is always on hand if you need anything. A brilliant holiday stay and no doubt we will be back again!

"Fantastic flat!"
All mod cons for a very comfortable stay including a fabulous shower and bath (don't need to bring your own bubble bath as it's provided.) There was a brilliant fridge freezer but the crumbs on the fridge shelves need to be cleaned properly between guests. We couldn't give full marks for cleanliness because the wonderful conservatory stunk of dogs (opening the doors and windows didn't help remove the smell from the curtains). Parking was easy and we enjoyed the garden and making use of the garden furniture. Again nice touches with a garden parasol. Thanks! We are looking forward to coming back!
-
"Was a very pleasant stay the flat had all the facilities you need."
The tv was the biggest l have seen.Very comfortable living space with lots of room. The charger for the car was brilliant no worries having to find chargers. We had a fantastic stay will definitely come again. Thanks for all your help Wayne nothing to much trouble.See you again Angela.

"We had a lovely stay, everything was provided to make our stay comfortable."
We found it to be very relaxing and even though the weather wasn’t too good, having the conservatory to sit in was brilliant. The garden was lovely and our dog enjoyed having a run around and lying on the grass. We are looking forward to coming back. Wayne was very helpful and informative and he was very kind too.
-
"This was our first stay with Sykes and we were delighted with our experience."
From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Wayne, who proved to be a mine of useful information and practical support, to the time we left we could not fault our experience. The flat was modern with the luxury of a jacuzzi bath to relax in after spending a day out exploring. The kitchen was well equipped and the fixtures and fitting had a feeling of quality - including the enormous television which nearly filled the wall. The flat had a lovely homely feeling and we felt relaxed there right from the start. Will definitely be looking to return
-
"The flat is modern and clean."
We liked the Sky Glass and the recliner sofas. The flat is a short walk from the shops and the sea front. The garden is fully enclosed which was brilliant for the dog. Any problems Wayne is on hand to sort, he is cannot do enough to help.
-
"Thankyou Wayne for meeting and greeting us once again and for our welcome pack."
Thanks for getting the special bubbles for the jacuzzi bath which is a welcome treat to relax when not sat on the decking in the sun trap garden or watching the massive telly. Pier, shops, cafes all nearby and the west shore beach is a short drive away which has another fabulous cafe and mobile cafe too. Or stay home and drink coffee using the fabulous new coffee machine!
-
"Excellent wayne was very good greeted us explained how things work and was only a phone call away if there was a problem."
Would go again home from home everything was catered for.Park for walking dog close by and the beach 10mins down the road

"Lovely flat with every home comfort you would need."
Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Llandudno.
-
"A lovely modern place to stay."
Wayne ( owner) VERY helpful with a few minor problems. (Even offered to take us to pick up daughter from train station.) Weather not the best, heavy rain caused lack of sleep due to guttering overflow . Owner informed and said it was to be sorted . Not far from shops eg Asdas etc .

"Ground Floor Flat suited our needs perfectly."
It was an easy, flat 10mins walk onto the lovely promenade. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. We met Wayne, the owner, who was very helpful with local knowledge and it was good to know if we had any problems we could contact him. Llandudno was lovely. We would not hesitate to return.
-
"The flat is lovely with everything you might need and in an excellent location - an easy walk to everything in Llandudno."
Wayne is an excellent host with great knowledge of things to do and places to eat.

"We had an excellent holiday at this property."
Nothing was too much trouble from Wayne the owner. Very welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay. Home from home. Would love to return again.
-
"We had a great holiday staying here as it was a beautifully furnished flat which was clean and tidy on arrival and had everything we would need."
It was also close enough to walk to the promenade and the town. Our dog loved the garden which was very secure so he could not escape - We loved sitting out in the garden too and ate outside quite a few times with a drink or two ! We met the owner Wayne who was extremely friendly and on hand should we have needed anything - he showed us round and left a lovely welcome package of wine and ale which we loved. We look forward to returning to Llandudno sometime and will definitely book this flat again.
-
"Had a lovely week in this warm comfortable flat."
Its ideally placed for touring the coast and within walking distance of llandudno. The dog loved the enclosed garden and it has the added bonus of an electric car charger. The owner is very friendly and accessible.
-
"The flat is gorgeous, spacious, clean and had everything in it that we required."
I loved the sky glass TV and the recliner sofas. Wayne left us a fabulous and gorgeous welcome pack and was available when we had a query. Can't wait to stay in the flat again

"This was our second visit to Duchess Close."
As with our first visit the ground floor apartment was exceptionally clean. The facilities offered by Wayne - the automatic showers, 75 inch TV with sound bar, Netflix and Sky Sports, kitchen with dishwasher and plenty of space are excellent. The beds are very comfortable. Our little dog thoroughly enjoyed the dog proof garden and there was garden furniture to relax in. It’s a few minutes drive to Llandudno with its popular shops and eateries. The promenade is a pleasure to stroll on.
-
"Lovely warm and personable welcome from the owner who took time to show us around and check with us how everything worked."
Everything well thought through , comfortable, relaxing and peaceful despite backing onto main road. Easy to walk to shops and the sea and pier or drive and park for west shore. Lovely place with all the mod cons you could wish for to have days relaxing in this delightful home from home. Eat in or eat out, this place has it all. We loved the kitchen, massive telly and the jacuzzi bath was amazing. Thankyou.
-
"Really lovely property."
The owner Wayne met us on arrival and was extremely friendly and informative. Lots of modern appliances, but I must admit we only used the washing machine and the kettle. Enjoyed the wine and goodies in the welcome basket, which was a nice touch. Realise there is nothing that could be done about the noise from the main road, or the upstairs creaking floor, which was somewhat annoying during the night. The only thing that maybe could be a small improvement would be a bathmat to step on when getting out of the shower. Other than that a great week. Thanks

"One of the best holiday homes I have stayed in equipped extremely well and very comfortable"
-
"Beautiful ground floor flat."
Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Spacious and comfortable throughout. The showers are fabulous. We had good weather and it was pleasant sitting out in the private garden. Wayne our host was on hand and helpful. He even purchased a shower chair for my mum who has mobility problems. Convenient parking. Within walking distance to town. Would definitely stay again.

"We had a lovely holiday in this apartment and will certainly be rebooking."
Wayne was extremely helpful and we appreciated that he was easily contactable.
-
"Wayne the owner was brilliant at communication and offered to meet us when we arrived."
We actually met Wayne the following day and he was most helpful re any questions regards our stay. The apartment was as described and well equipped and the enormous Skye glass TV was excellent. It was warm, comfortable with two lovely bathrooms and the showers were fabulous. The location of the apartment is great for walking into town and further. The Esplanade and pier are all within easy walking distance as is Craig y Don. The rear garden which is fully enclosed and dog safe is a sun trap albeit next to the road into Llandudno. We knew this from the location and it didn't bother us at all. The bathrooms and the other rooms were spotless. Llandudno is a real gem with the town, both coasts (the west shore is our favourite with wonderful sunsets) and of course the Great Orme and its resident goats. Favourite places we found to drink were the Tapps, the micro pub in Craig y Don and the Kings Head (especially if you enjoy the walk from the West Shore at the bottom of the Orme) The tea room on this walk is also lovely. A brilliant holiday and we would return to this apartment if we visit again in the future. Thank you
-
"Great “tech” in the apartment."
The only improvement would be the pillows. We left footprints on the tiles when we left ((during Storm Eunice) but couldn’t find a mop. Had a very enjoyable stay .

"All the information and guidance to the property was spot on."
We had a surprise welcome pack on arrival. The location was great as we were able to visit Snowdonia, Anglesey, Chester and of course LLandudno. Well done to Wayne who rented us the property.
-
"Exceptionally well equipped, the owner met us when we arrived and showed us round."
He explained how various appliances worked and said that he was available within minutes should we have any problems. The flat was well positioned, within 10 minutes of the sea front, shops and pubs. There was an arrival presentation pack of various groceries which was a pleasant surprise. Only one problem - no teapot !!!
Hi Jim, thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the apartment - The teapot is in the kitchen cupboard on the top shelf above the coffee cups, Best Regards Wayne Property Owner

"This property is in easy reach of the promenade, restaurants, pubs and any shopping required."
Beds very comfortable, modern showers, lounge has a tv 6 x 3 feet furniture comfortable and the garden is very pleasant to sit in. Only negative point was work space in the kitchen but that could be what l am use to. Wayne the owner was very helpful indeed. Milk, ham, marg, Welsh cakes, bottle of wine and crisps was a nice bonus. I with my late wife have been with Sykes cottage company for many years properties are always of a very high standard. Three more booked for next year. Thank you all owners and especially to Sykes staff for all help given. Ray.

"Everything you needed was there, also the welcome pack was an added bonus."
Not too far from the sea front. We were greeted by the owner who showed us how everything worked. Would definitely stay there again
-
"The accommodation is gorgeous and provided everything we could have wished for."
You can contact the owner at any time if you had a query. The accommodation is in a fabulous location and it is not too far out from the centre. We loved it and had a great holiday.
-
"The welcome pack was much appreciated and the flat was as expected."
not too far from the beach and Llandudno also a lovely hotel which served food just a walk away. will be recommending to our friends. Thank you Wayne for a lovely stay
-
"The owner of Ground Floor Flat, Wayne Hambridge, was most helpful, and was at the flat to welcome us on arrival."
He showed us the around the flat explaining how various items of equipment worked, and assured us that he was only a phone call away if there were any issues. It was a delightful stay, thank you Wayne.
-
"Beautiful apartment with the bonus of conservatory and garden."
Very high spec with all the facilities. The owner was very obliging and friendly. It was a close walk to town with all the shops and the seafront also a good place to go for many other places in North Wales. We would definitely book again.
-
"Lovely flat but let down by noise from the upstairs flat."
We've never stayed in a flat before so perhaps it's to be expected.
-
"Avery nice apartment: extremely well equipped with lots of extras."
Owner Wayne very helpful & hospitable.
-
"The flat is furnished to a high modern standard, I recommend taking up the owners offer to explain how everything works."
-
"An excellent, well equipped flat just minutes from all that Llandudno has to offer."
The owner, Wayne, contacted us to ensure we had settled in. We were greeted with a welcome box of essentials and goodies and the kitchen was stocked with a good variety of herbs and spices, as well as an excellent range of utensils. The flat is in a nice, residential area with plenty of take aways and restaurants in Craig y Don if you don’t want to go into Llandudno itself. The one thing we missed was directional lighting in the living room, the ambient light was great for watching tv but poor for reading.
Thank you very much for your feedback, we are glad you had a nice stay. We have since purchased directional floor lamps for the property. Property Owner

"We had a lovely holiday in the maisonette we rented."
It was very well situated for the sea front and amenities. the property was very clean and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owner was really helpful giving us local information. Exceptionally good accommodation I would recommend.
-
"6 Duchess Close is an ideal place to stay in Llandudno within walking distance of the sea front."
It is surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for our family of 4 and a dog. As seasoned self caterers we came prepared with our box of essentials which never left the boot as everything you could possibly need was provided and more. The welcome pack was very generous and thoughtful and included treats for our dog. The facilities were excellent, 2 bathrooms one of which had a jacuzzi bath. Our children absolutely loved the huge TV and associated technology. Lovely secure garden and patio area with BBQ which sadly due to weather we didn't get to use. The owner provided us with his contact details and also text us to make sure all was OK and was extremely helpful. Highly recommended this hi spec accommodation we will definitely return in the future

"Ground floor flat is a spacious, well maintained, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped property."
Spotlessly clean upon arrival and a wonderful hamper to great us from the extremely friendly and helpful owner Wayne. It is located just a 2 minute walk from a really nice pub, The Gwesty Links, which can be well recommended for its food and ales. A leisurely stroll of 15 minutes takes you into the centre of beautiful Llandudno with its many features and attractions. A visit to the copper mine at Great Orme is well recommended as is a trip out to zip world. We did Velocity 2 at Bethesda and Zip Forest at Betws y Coed and both were amazing days out, great fun. All in all a very special property set in a great location to explore the wonderful sights of stunning North Wales.

The property has been designed with opulence throughout with several mod cons to ensure a wonderful base for families to call home as they enjoy an action-packed holiday.
When you want to try your hand at creating a delicious dish of your own, rather than sampling the fine foods in Llandudno, venture into the contemporary kitchen.
The quality appliances are arranged in a sleek assortment and the contemporary breakfast bar is a perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine, whilst dinner simmers on the hob.
Once dinner is ready, gather your loved ones at the dining table, formally laid out within the conservatory, so that you can admire the garden as you toast to a wonderful holiday and tuck in.
Relax and unwind into your evening within the elegant sitting room, where you can alter the feature lighting to set the tone as you tune into the TV or curl up with a good book, with the gas fire offering a gentle warmth.
Moving through the property, you will find the master bedroom, complete with a plush double bed and views of the garden to enjoy, in addition to an impressive en-suite with a Jacuzzi bath and a separate walk-in shower.
Completing the interior is a twin bedroom and a family shower room, boasting a walk-in shower, basin and WC.
During summer evenings, look forward to lighting up the barbecue and enjoying a spot of alfresco dining, whilst your canine companions stretch their legs upon the spacious lawn.
Better acquaint yourself with your surroundings by walking through the centre of Llandudno, where you will be spoilt for choice by the superb selection of independent shops, chain shops, cafés, pubs and fine dining restaurants.
Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels before you walk the longest pier in Wales, where you will find amusement rides and food stalls or laze on the sands of the more peaceful West Shore.
Soak up the views from the large headland of the Great Orme, which can be travelled to by the San Franciscan-style tramway or alpine cable car or hike up the Little Orme, where you may spot a glimpse of seals at Angel Bay.
For those feeling more adventurous, head to the Llandudno Snowsports Centre, where you can go skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, alpine adventure golf and the Cresta Toboggan ride is not to be missed.
If you can tear yourself away from the resort town, head into the nearby town of Conwy, which is recognised as a world heritage site with its imposing 13th century castle and walls overlooking the plethora of amenities.
After enjoying the restaurants, traditional pubs and snug cafes, be sure to visit the smallest house in Britain, situated on the charming quay.
Other attractions, which lie slightly, further afield include the Welsh Mountain Zoo or head to the Snowdonia National Park, where you can climb the highest mountain in England and Wales or enjoy one of the many attractions available within the National Park, including Bounce Below and Zip World.
Bring your family and friends to share a memorable stay in North Wales.
About the location
LLANDUDNO
Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.
Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
