“The Cottage is in a lovely setting with great views and a little sitting area at the back.”

The bunk bed mattresses were appalling, every spring could be felt. They would have to be replaced.

We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty sleeping in the bunk beds, this is news to us. Thank you for letting us know as we will now look to replace them moving forward. We would love to see you holidaying with us again! Property Owner

The property

This pretty stone whitewashed end-terrace cottage is set in an elevated position with sea and beach views, in the delightful Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno.

Located on the Great Orme and just a short stroll from the terminus for the world-famous trams that go up to the summit of the Great Orme, this delightful cottage is perfect for a memorable break away for either a family, friends or a couple.

Welcoming and offering comfortable holiday accommodation, this cottage has been nicely appointed and decorated throughout in neutral tones.

A bright sitting room with bay window, comfy sofas and cosy woodburning stove, guaranteed to keep you warm whatever the weather, is the perfect place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring the town or a day on the beach.

The kitchen is basic but has all that you need to create tasty meals or snacks, which can be enjoyed at the table in the dining area in the sitting room.

This is an ideal spot to watch the ‘goings on’ outside, enjoy the trams and cable cars steadily ascending or descending, or sit out in the small courtyard at the rear of the cottage, which can be a real little sun trap and dine alfresco!

The delightful double bedroom has lovely views, the bunk room is great for the children and the bathroom boasts a double-ended bath, perfect for a long soak to soothe away the aches after a day on the mountains.

The magnificent Great Orme is on your doorstep and a haven for some fantastic walks and cycling, or if you fancy something a little more relaxing then take the cable car to the summit and take in some of the most beautiful breathtaking views.

For something a little more exhilarating there is always the dry ski slope and toboggan run.

The centre of town is a short stroll down the hill.

Take a leisurely walk along the historic pier which projects out over the sea, or along the promenade, a great spot for a cooling ice cream, or take time out and enjoy the Punch and Judy show (summer months only).

Alternatively discover the wonderful beachfront amusements, a great day out for the children and the adults too.

In the evening why not see what’s on at Venue Cymru, Llandudno’s main theatre which features popular touring shows and world-renowned acts?

Within a short drive are the historic castles at Conwy and Caernarfon and the stunning Snowdonia National Park, or venture over onto the Isle of Anglesey for the day.

Whatever you choose to do on your North Wales holiday, this Llandudno cottage will provide a great base from which to explore and will ensure that you have a truly memorable time all year round.

About the location

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
