  • "Sheraton is a clean, well provided and nicely located on the sea front with excellent views."

There is a nice cafe two hundred yards one way and the same distance the other way is a mini supermarket which provides all the necessary essentials. A walk to the town centre is only a twenty minute steady walk via the nearby cricket pitch. I can clearly understand the previous reviews as the Sheraton is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The owners are very helpful should there be any problems and the welcome pack is very informative.

Unfortunately while we were staying the washing machine sprung a leak which was dealt with the same day, Also the dishwasher was also leaking which requires attention.

  • "The house is in a wonderful position with views of the promenade and sea across the road."

We found it warm, spacious and welcoming. The extra space, such as the utility room was much valued by our party of 6 adults and two dogs. Within comfortable walking distance is the Great Orme and the town centre. A five minute walk away there is a pub that also does great food. We had lunch there one day and went back on our last night for an evening meal. Thank you Bob and Pam for creating such a lovely place, and for the welcome pack.

  • "We had a super Christmas holiday at Sheraton, despite the stormy weather."

Had some spectacular stormy seas we could watch while being nice and toasty inside. The Christmas tree and decorations were lovely and the welcome pack was super, thank you Pam. The location is perfect for short local walks and quieter than the east coast although only a 15 minute walk to the pier, attractions and shops. The layout was ideal for us, really suited mum who has mobility needs, walk in shower and loos higher than standard. Kitchen very well equipped, beds really comfortable and towels big and fluffy. We look forward to returning in the future.

  • "This is the second time we have booked the Sheraton."

Yet again it didn't disappoint. Ideal location looking out on the sea (especially if the weather isn't good). The house is comfortable and well furnished and is an ideal base for exploring the area.

Thank you for your positive feedback. Have recently provided a nest of two tables and a reading light beside the dining room sofa which we hope will be useful especially with shorter winter days. Look forwards to seeing you back again. Bob and Pam Property Owner

  • "Excellent property!"

New fence and gate at the rear of property is a worthwhile addition. Rooms are all as we found on our previous visit - decoratively very good. Would benefit by installing a reading lamp and small table alongside the sofa in the dining room. The seat cushion filling on the sofas in the lounge feel like they need replacement (although still reasonably comfortable, could be better). In the kitchen, needs are a bread knife and a pair of kitchen tongs. The new Nespresso unit is an excellent addition. Looking forward to another visit.

Thank you for your feedback which was appreciated. Bread knife and kitchen tongues replaced immediately. We now have a nest of two sturdy tables by the dining room sofa on top of which stands an adjustable reading light. A good addition as winter days get shorter. Glad you enjoyed the coffee machine. Hope to see you back again. Pam and Bob Property Owner

  • "This cottage is in an ideal location at the South shore of Llandudno which is the quieter end."

The beach is a stone’s throw away. It is very clean and very well equipped. The bedding and towels were clean and a decent quality. The cottage is spacious with good off road parking. There is a lovely enclosed garden at the front (if gates shut) which has good views of the beach. It is an ideal location to explore the area.

  • "The property was lovely and very clean and in a very nice setting with almost everything needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay, the only point I would make would be about the upstairs bedroom only having blinds but no curtains, my daughter and son in law slept there and found the room became light very early in the morning and one meal we started to make had a couple of tins which required a tin opener but try as we may we were unable to find one."

However we still enjoyed our stay at Sheraton, andbwould happily stay there again

Thank you for your feedback. After you left you said there was no tin opener. I went quickly to the house to give the next guest a tin opener. If you had given us a call we would have responded immediately. Sometimes small objects are removed in error if they have been taken to the beach and left in a basket. We understand and are sorry that the blinds were not adequate. We will monitor this. Curtains are not always a good choice as the windows are dormers, small and curtains by the bed could be easily pulled down, needing ongoing repairs. We hope to see you again. Very spacious and clean Lots to do locally and in this part of Wales. The addition of a coffee machine would be useful

Thank you for your kind remarks. We understand your request for a coffee machine and although we have a cafetière we will put one in. Hope to see you again. Best regards Bob and Pam Property Owner

Park up in either of two off-road parking spaces nestled at the foot of this lovely dwelling before unloading your bags and making your way inside your new home-from-home to begin your staycation.

Stepping inside, be charmed by the spacious hallway that greets you upon arrival, providing handy storage space to house your beach-going essentials away from the main living areas.

A lengthy journey calls for some well-deserved rest, so kick-off your shoes and head for the enticing sitting room to enjoy a family-favourite on the TV, or for a moment of peace away from the excitement, enjoy a solace retreat with a good book in hand in the snug.

When stomachs start to rumble, discover the well-equipped kitchen/diner, where you can share a bottle of wine with the designated chef at the elegant breakfast bar as they prepare a range of delectable dishes to be enjoyed at the nearby dining table.

In the warmer months, end each day in style with a sociable seat in your private garden, where you can recount the day's adventures with your favourite tipple as the fresh sea air breezes past.

As the day draws to a close, retreat indoors and head to one of three well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest.

Find two bedrooms nestled on the ground floor - a spacious king size complete with a dressing room and en-suite with walk-in shower, and a super-king size zip/link (which can be a twin on request for a flexible seeking arrangement), alongside a contemporary family bathroom, perfect for those with limited mobility.

The final king-size bedroom can be found on the first floor, fitted with an en-suite shower to help avoid those morning queues along with a cosy seating area to enjoy soaking in the views with a steaming cup of coffee ahead of a new day.

Pack up your bucket and spade and take advantage of your coastal location by heading to the glorious sands of West Shore Beach, where you can spend lazy afternoons paddling the shores of the Irish Sea or rock-pooling in search of treasures.

You'll find a wealth of local amenities nestled on your doorstep, with restaurants, cafes, including a beach cafe serving homemade food just 200 yards away, and traditional pubs in abundance, perfect for fuelling the day's excursions with a hearty breakfast or indulging in a bite to eat at the end of an action-packed day.

Savour fresh fish and chips with a stroll along the promenade, with remarkable Victorian buildings to one side and the bustling seaside to the other or count your pennies and head to the slots aboard the pier.

Keen putters will have found their haven, with a wealth of fantastic golfing opportunities available, including Conwy Golf Club, hosts to the Curtis Cup 2021, and the North Wales Golf Club and the 18-hole championship Maesdu Golf Club, each one boasting superb views and a fantastic setting for testing out your clubs.

Further golfing opportunities can be found in the resort of Rhos on Sea, with two excellent golf clubs offering impressive sea views.

With the property located on a convenient bus route, explore the area.

Catch the historic cable-hauled tram and journey to the summit of the Great Orme, a craggy limestone headland overlooking the town, or lace up your walking boots and embark on a two-footed adventure via The Great Orme Circular, offering far-reaching views of Liverpool Bay, the Carneddau mountain range and the Isle of Anglesey.

Spend the day visiting the market town of Conwy, where you can tour the preserved 13th century fortress of Conwy Castle or test your swing at the well-kept links course at Conwy Caernarvonshire Golf Club, whilst more seaside adventures await in Colwyn Bay.

Avid outdoor adventurers will delight with a visit to Snowdonia National Park, home to walking, cycling and hiking routes to suit all abilities, where the climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon and the zip-wire hidden amongst the caverns deep below the rolling landscape are reserved for thrill seekers.

For your next Welsh adventure, choose a stay at Sheraton.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
