  • "Beautiful house so clean and comfortable every that you need is there."

The view from the front windows is fantastic, even had a brilliant sunset on Tuesday night. If you want a holiday in Llandudno that has everything going for it then this is the house to go for. We made a very late booking and the lady that looks after the house came eariy to see that everything was up to standard before we got there.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are delighted you had an enjoyable break and look forward to welcoming you back next year. Best wishes. Property Owner

  • "Fabulous large family house right on the West Shore of Llandudno with views over the beach and sea to the front and to the Great Orme to the right."

Perfect for a group stay of grandparents through to grandchildren. Well equipped, clean and despite being a large property, is very comfy and homely. Easy access to LLanduduno town - a short 20 min walk if wanted -but also a great base for travel further afield, either inland to places such as Betwys Y Coed or up to Anglesey. Lovely to return to after a day out with lots of space to relax.

Thank you very much for your super review! We are so glad you enjoyed the property and had a good break. Best wishes. Property Owner

  • "This is beautiful house with wonderful sea views."

It is tastefully furnished, well maintained and spotlessly clean. It is very spacious and comfortable provides all necessary facilities. A welcome text from the owner was a nice touch. As we were leaving the cleaners arrived and were very keen to have our feedback and suggestions. Westbourne is in a quiet part of the lovely town of Llandudno but within easy access of all it has to offer . We hope to visit again.

  • "Happy with the accommodation and location - we had a great family get-to-gether and holiday."

The marks would have been higher except for the fact that there was a major issue with the disposal of general rubbish and recycling. On arrival the general waste bin at the back of the house was overflowing and I had to empty some out just to be able to shut the lid. Also the 3 recycling bins which should be collected on Thursday were also full! The owner suggested transporting waste to the public bins along the road which is what I did. (These public bins have a letter-box style opening in order to deter bags of waste being put in I assume.) I understand that Conwy Council only collect general waste every 4 weeks and I assume that the previous guests had not put the recycling bins out the day before we arrived, but surely the cleaners and owner between them should ensure that these various bins have sufficient room for newly arrived guests.

Many thanks for taking the time to review my property and I'm pleased you were happy with the accommodation and location of the house as well as being delighted that you enjoyed your family get together and holiday. Once again, I should like to apologise with regards to the problem of rubbish and collection/disposal. As I mentioned to you in my welcome correspondence, there was an issue with bins and I do rely on the goodwill of my guests to correctly dispose of their rubbish at the end of each stay, and indeed always make a point of telling them the days the bins must be left out and exactly which bins as stipulated by Conwy County Council. Unfortunately the previous guests didn't adhere to this request and therefore the situation arose whereby the bins were full. My changeover lady leaves the house in an impeccable condition and (although it isn't in her job description) had also kindly disposed of some rubbish herself. Unfortunately I do not live in the vicinity, so cannot help. To rectify this situation if it should reoccur, I have now signed a contract with a commercial bin provider which will be arriving this week and this should resolve any issues. Best wishes. A perfect location to wind down in the evenings after walking the Great Orme, beach cricket, pitch & putt golf, not forgetting the high speed thrills of Zip Wire and speedboat trip!

Great views, quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but only a 20 min walk to the pier with little rides and amusements. A walk to the top of the Great orme is a must aswell as train up Mount Snowdon. Great little fish and chip shop around the back 2 min walk. Highly recommend Westbourne.

The views and walks are things you will never tire of along with the sunsets. All the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and we all slept well. We had a fantastic time in Llandudno and the surrounding area so much so our grandchildren didn’t want to leave Wales and ask us to buy the house. We would return in a heartbeat if possible

  • "This property really is a wonderful home from home."

The location is simply perfect - right on the seafront, a short stroll into town or alternatively along the coast to Deganwy and The Orme. For anyone who may be less mobile, there is no better spot to watch the world go by, and soak in the views towards Penmaenmawr and along the coast, over to Anglesey - take your binoculars if you have them! The house has some wonderful period features and rooms are comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is particularly well equipped, with ample storage space, built in appliances (dishwasher and fridge) and a useful utility room with additional fridge/freezer space. The range cooker is great for rustling up feasts in the evening or hearty weekend cooked breakfasts. The private parking was a godsend given the great weather we enjoyed and the influx of day trippers parking on the seafront also taking advantage of the sunshine. The rear garden is a real sun trap and the outdoor furniture provided was of good quality. The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Ideal for a beach holiday, as a base for visiting the sights of North Wales and Snowdonia, or simply relaxing in comfortable surroundings, and enjoying spectacular sunsets, Westbourne is a real gem and we hope to return before too long.

!!! we enjoyed having breakfast, lunch and supper on the beach in the sun and our young kids loved rock pooling and playing on the beach - I just wish I’d taken our standup paddle board as the bay was calm and flat through out our stay. About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
