  • "Beautiful cottage, beautiful decor whilst keeping the charm of original features, plus all mod cons."

In a lovely little village Llandwog who have recently club together to keep their local pub, which is not far from the cottage, warm welcome and Dinas Dinelle beach (don’t miss the sun set) which is minutes away in the car. The view from the front is amazing and lovely to sit in with a cup of tea. Easy access to all local towns and the newly built bypass is brilliant Canernarfon, Bangor, Porthmadog. Two major food stores Tesco and Morrisons ( has petrol station) near Canernarfon which is not that far away. Parking at the front of the cottage is good. A very relaxing holiday, will book again.

  • "The cottage was fabulous with everything we required."

We only used what we needed from the supplies that we were greeted with. The location was perfect; away from busy areas but close enough for our requirements. It was very quiet and the village was very pleasant, and the locals were chatty. The cottage was a good size and in good order.

Thank you for the feedback, we are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. Property Owner

Shame about the storms but it was February half-term and this was out of anyone's control. Had a lovely week in a lovely location and cottage and really appreciated the welcome pack to help us settle in. Thank you.

  • "Lovely cottage in a quiet small village."

Very handily placed for touring Snowdonia. Very tastefully decorated and furnished. We don't have a log burner at home, so some instructions would have been handy .

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We will update the welcome folder to include instructions for the log burner. Property Owner

There was a marvellous welcome basket containging milk, tea, coffee, bread, welsh cakes, barabrith and a bottle of wine. All the instructions, including the heating and bin collection were all very clear. A great stay, we hope to return someday.

  • "This was a very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful area of Wales."

The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, it felt like home from home. The cottage has modern appliances but has kept it’s traditional Welsh character. Lovely views from the upstairs bedroom. The owners were friendly and were ready to help. We have already looked into booking this cottage again next year. Diolch yn Fawr Caryl a Trystan

  • "The owner really needs to upgrade the mattress on the beds as they are like sponges."

We were unable to sleep on them for the full 6 nights. A bit more details are required about the local area especially what's available. The deco was nice and the location is ideal just 5 minutes from a mainly pebble beach with amazing views.

Thank you for the feedback. It’s a shame that you did not mention this during the three times we made contact to check that everything was ok. We encourage any feedback straight away so that we can resolve and ensure guests enjoy their stay. The beds and mattresses were all purchased brand new in May this year. We apologise that you did not find the king size bed comfortable enough. If you had told us this when we asked, we would have purchased a new one, same day. We have now replaced the mattress. About the location

Caernarfon 5 miles.

Dinas Dinlle is a superb coastal resort renowned for its family fun and watersports (mainly wind and kite surfing) on its long sandy Blue Flag beach. It has an Iron age hill fort and Roman ruins on a National Trust area just by the beach. The small Caernarfon Aerodrome is located at the far end of the beach and is great for pleasure flights or to visit the Airworld Aviation Museum for an afternoon. Dinas Dinlle is located near the quaint Welsh village of Llandwrog and Glynllifon Country Park, winner of a Green Flag award, described as one of Wales' best kept secrets. Glynllifon Park was once Lord Newborough's private garden and is today home to Grade I listed gardens and is a designated S.S.S.I. boasting Victorian follies, streams, fountains, wonderful tree trails, craft shops and The Glynllifon Mansion. Nearby is historic Caernarfon, a popular tourist spot with its magnificent 13th Century castle and well preserved town walls. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and a golf course, and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of the Snowdonia National Park.
