  • "A beautifully modernised period property which has retained the character of the original building."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accomodation was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need. The Wi Fi was good and the heating system very effective with Hive controls. There is a lovely log burner in the living room with logs etc available. We didn't use it but would be lovely and cosy for winter months. We had no problem parking on the road outside the property. It was always kept clear for this cottage. Llandwrog is a lovely quiet village. There is a church and local pub. We didn't visit the pub but the guest book in the cottage gave good feedback. Dinas Dinlle Beach is a 20 minute easy walk. Great for dogs. There is also good parking there if you don't fancy the walk down. We know the area well as my mother grew up close by and lots of family around. We look forward to visiting again. I can recommend The Welsh Highland Railway which runs from Caernarfon to Porthmadog....not running when we stayed but will be open from Easter. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It really was a home away from home with everything you need to have a relaxing and easy stay. The hosts were absolutely lovely, welcoming and went out their way to accommodate us which was hugely appreciated. The cottage has been renovated beautifully, we was not at all disappointed. The location was perfect for what we was looking for from the hugley friendly and lovely village to the fantastic beach only a short walk away but also close to some really great places not too far away if you fancy seeing some local sights or day trips out. Thank you so much for having us and look forward to staying again

  • "The most charming cottage ever."

The attention to detail is first class . The way the cottage has been modernised has not taken away the fact that it is grade 2 listed. The welcome basket is thoughtfully filled with treats for whoever is arriving, inc dog treats. From the front door to the back it is beautiful. The village is a mile walk from the beach and the village pub is 2 mins walk . It's very peaceful, you will never want to leave. I shall certainly be back Thank you.

We had a couple of small problems on arrival but these were sorted out very quickly by the lovely lady who owns the cottage. We were staying for work purposes. It was perfect as we could store our work in the upstairs room so not to clutter the living space. The welcome basket was wonderful. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Cae’r Llwyn and won’t be our last. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, perfectly complimenting the gorgeous original features. It is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are super friendly and the welcome basket is a lovely thoughtful touch (my dog loved the treats - thank you!). The location is great for exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The village of Llandwrog itself is lovely, and it’s a nice little walk through the village and down to Dinas Dinlle beach. A perfect week. Thank you & see you next year!

We were unable to sleep on them for the full 6 nights. A bit more details are required about the local area especially what's available. The deco was nice and the location is ideal just 5 minutes from a mainly pebble beach with amazing views.

Thank you for the feedback. It’s a shame that you did not mention this during the three times we made contact to check that everything was ok. We encourage any feedback straight away so that we can resolve and ensure guests enjoy their stay. The beds and mattresses were all purchased brand new in May this year. We apologise that you did not find the king size bed comfortable enough. If you had told us this when we asked, we would have purchased a new one, same day. We have now replaced the mattress.
