  • "Convenient location, handy for both coast and mountains."

Lovely quiet position with private car parking, genial host, easy check-in and check-out to comfortable, cosy accomodation.

  • "Absolutely beautiful cottage and the perfect get away for my husband and I."

We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer as we loved curling up on the sofa on an evening, log burner going and just relaxing in such a peaceful location. Loved all the additional touches for our arrival and not forgetting one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

  • "This was one of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in for quite some time."

Very well equipped and nicely furnished. The owner greeted us when we arrived, complete with a small welcome pack of bread, milk, and eggs from their own chickens. The only negative point was the endless barking of a dog at a neighbouring property which went on and on and on all night meaning getting a good nights sleep was very difficult.

  • "A beautiful little cottage attached to the owners house."

the lounge was well furnished, the kitchen fully equipped, the beds comfortable.(but the duvet was too hot for us during the heatwave The bathroom was well laid out but there was no place to put a shower - just the handheld attachment in the bath which was rather narrow so that my husband who had had both hips replaced could not get to sit down. We both loved the little courtyard with rattan garden furniture - and a good outside light so that during the warm evenings we could sit outside and read,

The property is beautiful, cosy and homely. The owner Martin gave us a warm welcome as we arrived, it is just a shame we had to leave. I would highly recommend, we will definitely be returning. The location is fantastic to explore snowdonia and its surroundings. Can’t wait to come back and stay again.

  • "An ideal choice, and everything we were hoping for, especially the chickens!"

Only one small problem - the drive to the cottage is off a fast main road, very narrow, and only a small name board, partly hidden be foliage. It's very difficult to find, even after several days, not helped by impatient Welsh drivers! Otherwise, a great holiday in every way.

We needed to drive to eateries/ pubs;nothing within walking distance. Owners v welcoming, helpful & obliging.Well stocked welcome tray inc owners hens eggs, choc, bread,Welsh cakes,Barra bread, wine etc. No lids for saucepans & cooker hood light not working. Very low head beams & hand held shower with holder in bath, no shower curtain or screen, so luxurious bathroom floods when using.Need to walk through master bedroom upstairs to access bathroom.Locks not working on bathroom door, & landing c’board door. Downstairs bedroom door sticks & does not close. Can hear through adjoining door to owners property marked ‘ Private’ at times. Good to find 1st aid kit in kitchen & plenty of storage available. BBQ available on private patio area with lovely planting. Good value for money & situated in a beautiful setting.Overall a good experience.

Glynis and Martin were excellent hosts, friendly but unobtrusive, they made us feel very welcome. Their welcome pack was excellent as the shops are quite far away, and was thoughtfully put together. the cottage is cosy and modern and beautifully furnished. One drawback is the small double bed and hand held shower difficult to operate.
