  • "Very good facilities, quiet location."

Forgot to take own towels...unusual they are not provided, this was included in property details but needs to be more prominent?

  • "The cottage is small but in a nice situation and tastefully done out."

It is in a good location for access to the Abersoch and the surrounding area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. My wife found the bed hard but apart from this everything was good. The Sun Inn is just under 1/2 mile away and is 10 minutes walk away.

  • "The cottage contents and facilities did NOT match the description in the advert."

It was a mish mash of well worn furniture, settee very uncomfortable rickerty table, only a very limited amount of freeview available on a very small tv. the list is endless we are sending an email to you with more details. May I suggest that you be more careful when describing property as a letting agent it is your name that suffers. and why no visitors book? Regards L.A. Chambers

  • "The location of Ty Woms was perfect for a quiet holiday retreat and it was situated in lovely surroundings."

The cottage was very clean and well appointed and we really enjoyed our stay. The only problems we experienced were that we could not get the heated towel rail to work and due to the lack of water pressure the shower was reduced to a dribble. Otherwise it was fine.

  • "An excellent cotrage for a couple."

Handily situated, clean and comfortable with dxtensive gardens and open space around. My only concern is that for newcomers it is not clearly signposted on the road outside. We had trouble finding Ty Woms on our first visit.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
