  • "Loved the cottage, very cosy and comfortable with a very useful welcome pack which was gratefully received."

  • "We had a fantastic stay in this cottage."

It has everything you need for a home from home. It is nestled in a sleepy seaside village with superb mountain views. We found the location a perfect base for exploring the rest of North Wales. Thank you Jayne and David. We will be back soon!

  • "Nice cottage."

Central and easy to walk to pubs and shops. Has got a few small hills which my husband managed and he has some mobility problems.

Thank you for your review and glad to hear your husband managed ok. Property Owner

  • "Cottage is lovely."

...but I'm afraid the location is not for me...parking is very difficult...neighbours are quite rude regarding parking

Thanks for the feedback. Really sorry to hear you experienced problems with parking. It hasn't usually been a problem and obviously there's very little we can do about it. I'm not sure why the gentleman concerned felt he had the right to ask you to move and I'm sorry that it impacted on your holiday. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Bron Rallt Newydd."

The property is lovely and clean and well maintained. The layout is really charming and everything we could possibly need was provided (towels, bedding, fully outfitted kitchen, we don't have a furry friend but there were even pet food bowls). We were lucky to have very warm weather during our stay and the upsidedown layout was great as the downstairs bedrooms stayed nice and cool. The location is also ideal, only 20-30 minutes from Conwy, Anglesey and Caernarfon, meaning we had some great days out. There isn't parking outside, which we expected and wasn't really a problem as we were able to park a short walk away within the neighborhood, which is pleasantly quiet. All in all we had a fantastic stay and have already recommended it to family :)

Thank you for your review. It's really great to get positive feedback and we're so pleased that you had a lovely stay. Property Owner

  • "Main living area fine."

Was warm. Bedrooms a little uninviting. Bathroom needs updating. No outdoor space a minus point. Really a holiday let for a couple rather than a family.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm very surprised that you thought it uninviting as we've never had anything but positive praise for the cottage until now. We were restricted by the existing building when it came to the size of rooms, hence the bedrooms are fairly narrow but did our best with decor and soft furnishings to try and make them feel warm and homely. The details don't mention a garden and do mention that parking is not next to the cottage so we've tried to be as honest as possible. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful cottage with beautiful views."

Had a thoroughly relaxing week. Lovely extra touches like the welcome pack with even treats for the dog made it extra special. Just a couple of things to note though. The extremely narrow lane the cottage is on is best approached from the top rather than the bottom. There is no parking immediately near the cottage so parked elsewhere in the village. The double room is quite compact and warm so needed to make beds up in other room which was more airy but we still had a brilliant break. Would definitely visit again.

Super, roomy open plan space upstairs and cosy bedrooms downstairs. Had everything we needed topped off with fluffy towels and a very welcome welcome pack of locally supplied essentials.

Cosy in winter, I imagine it’s also great in summer. Layout works well. Perfectly cleaned. Great shower. Downstairs has obvious damp issues.

We had to park up a hill due to unfriendly neighbours, however I can understand their point of view. If we had only one car it would not have been such a problem. Would we stay there again the answer would be Yes but in one car. Many Thanks John E Lewis
