The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location, overlooking the sea, is lovely. It is also convenient for the village, local cafes and railway station. The bara brith, Welsh cakes and milk were much appreciated!

It’s great to know you enjoyed your stay at Gwylanedd One, thank you for the lovely feedback, the seafront view is ever changing, an excellent relaxing location for both people and weather watching. Property Owner

  • "Very well maintained, extremely spacious apartment in an enviable location right opposite the sea."

The apartment is pristine, exceptionally clean and well equipped. Great location, a quiet, non-resort area, but within very easy reach of many places to visit; a week wasn’t long enough. We were blessed with fabulous weather, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the goings on in the sea from the window and walks along the promenade and to the nature resort; a far more beautiful spot than I anticipated, having only driven past down the A55 before! Excellent accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

thank you for your lovely feedback, Llanfairfechan is often bypassed by people passing by on the A55, yet it is as you say a beautiful yet quiet spot, happy you enjoyed your holiday Property Owner

It was very quiet and relaxing. Promenade cafe and Seagrass cafe ideal for refreshments and meals. The apartment was very comfortable and decor lovely with all the necessary extras in the kitchen, and for a family toys for children, beach requirements too. A welcome pack of Welsh scones and cake & milk, tea and coffee add to the extras. We had a lovely break and hope to return.

Thank you for your lovely comments I am happy that you had an enjoyable break in Llanfairfechan- no matter what the weather the view over Conwy Bay from the lounge window is spectacular- I look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "The property was perfectly located and it was obvious the owner had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure the accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything you needed."

There was an issue with the frying pans sticking, thus we made use of the cafe next door for breakfast as the sausage and bacon baps were excellent. There was also some music playing at times, we were unsure of the source, but it did not disturb us at night. Overall this was one of the better properties we have stayed in.

Thank you for your feedback and kind comments Gwylanedd One is definitely in a beautiful spot on the North Wales Coast. I am sorry you had problems with the frying pan. There is controversy concerning the safety of non stick pans, and certainly any visible damage to coatings requires their immediate replacement, for these reasons none of the provided pans in the flat are non stick. From a providers perspective good quality metal pans can be more easily kept clean and hygienic. I encourage anyone with any problem to contact me during their stay so that it can be resolved. Playing of loud music is against the rules in place in Gwylanedd for everyone’s comfort, this could easily have been addressed had I been notified at the time. I am very relieved that you were not disturbed during the evenings and happy that SeaGrass breakfasts were enjoyable. Having SeaGrass Bistro and The Pavillion cafe so close is useful when self catering at Gwylanedd One. Property Owner

Both the location right on the beach as well as the general set up were second to none. We stayed in the flat with 2 young children and the fact that so many games and things for the beach (bucket anc spade/ deck chairs etc) had been left for our use was a real bonus. Many thanks Jean!

Thank you for your lovely feedback, I’m happy that you had an enjoyable holiday. Llanfairfechan is certainly suitable for a holiday with children of any age. Llanfairfechan is readily accessible by public transport so having beach chairs and windbreak available in the flat is useful if guests don’t have access to a car or even lots of luggage in a full car! So spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view from the lounge window is delightful. We had a lovely sunset one night and it’s great to watch the windsurfers in the evenings. It is peaceful and quiet with cafes close by for snacks and refreshments. There is a great walk along the prom which is very flat and easy for all levels of mobility. You can go a long way or a short distance. We found it so easy to access the main express road and get to Anglesey or other parts of Wales. The owner lives next door and is very helpful letting you know if there are any road disruptions etc. Many thanks. A perfect place to stay! We will be back.
