  • "We absolutely loved our stay."

The house was huge and gave us so much space. The no. of tv subscriptions were a real added bonus! The views are absolutely amazing from so many rooms and we had glorious weather to enjoy them. The neighbours were lovely and helped us find a nearby woods where our dog could run off-lead. Walks from the house are stunning with again wonderful views. Llangollen and Oswestry provide fabulous food and shopping options - all in all a perfect week - thank you Richard!

  • "Lovely spacious house in a good location."

Bed and furniture very comfortable, kitchen fitted out to a high standard, shower excellent and garden very dog friendly. Owner (Richard) very accessible if needed. A very minor negative is that the decor could do with a lick of paint in places, but this is not a deal breaker and we would happily stay again if we returned to the area.

Hi Sue Thanks for feedback - totally agree with you on the painting - property has been solid booked since March - first free week next week so the paint brush and roller are coming out! Kind regards Richard Property Owner

  • "We've just got back from a lovely stay at Five Counties View."

The house is really spacious for a large family. Having two reception rooms is great. We had some lovely days out - Chirk Castle is nearby and we walked along the pontcysyllte aqueduct and along the canal to Llangollen from the house, then got the bus back. If you have children the park, a short walk down the road, is great. The only thing I would say about the house is its generally clean but could do with a good deep clean. The floor clearly hadn't been mopped as socks were filthy and little things like mouldy reed diffusers in windowsills and old food left in cupboards isn't great. That being said we had a fab time and would stay again.

  • "Everything was really very nice and Richard was always available if required and he came weekly to clean the property from top to bottom, change all bed linen and towels and bring anything that we had asked for."

Thoroughly enjoyable 3 week stay. More information on local pubs and restaurants in the "folder" would have been useful but with internet and Google its not difficult to find anything you want. We would highly recommend The Telford by the canal and the aqueduct, a five minute drive as the best in the immediate area and S&G Bistro in Llangolen the food was excellent for lunches.

Fantastic views and a lovely homely feel. Worth noting that there are a number of high steps into the property which are difficult for infirm people.
