Whitewell Holiday Cottages
Cerrigydrudion 2 miles. A group of three beautifully renovated holiday cottages, set around a courtyard, next to the owners’ home, amongst 8 acres of private gardens and surrounded by open farmland and rolling countryside scenery and hillside views, in a secluded rural location, on the fringe of the Snowdonia National Park, two miles from the village of Cerrigydrudion in the Hiraethog Valley and only eleven miles from Bala. These lovely cottages can be booked individually and will suit couples, families and friends wishing to spend time together or larger family groups who may wish to book all the cottages for that special anniversary or birthday celebration. These beautiful rural cottages have all been sympathetically and carefully converted from their 19th century barn, dairy, coach house and stable beginnings. Oozing so much charm and character and having been individually designed, they each offer something unique and all offer wonderful features and attributes, such as open plan living accommodation with woodburning stoves, high pitched ceilings, exposed beams, timbers, purlins and exposed stonework. They have all been stylishly furnished to a high standard and with modern living in mind, with central heating throughout, well-equipped fitted kitchens and modern bathrooms. Great care has been taken to ensure you have a comfortable stay and a wonderful holiday. There is ample off road parking, as well as a shared courtyard, and there are a number of places where you can relax whilst reading a good book and taking in the spectacular scenery. Each cottage enjoys the benefit of having its own seating area, barbecue and garden furniture with the added benefit of a shared hot tub. Discover delightful walking nearby and birdwatching from the doorstep, and close by you will find Rhug Organic Farm and Restaurant, a perfect place to shop for the barbecue! The Glassblobbery Glassworks and the GYG Karting circuit are just outside the village of Cerrigydrudion, and Bala, with its lake, offers a number of watersports and fishing opportunities, or you can explore the area either on foot through the surrounding countryside or by taking a ride on the miniature steam railway. Less than 20 minutes away by car is the famous National White Water Centre, where you may wish to try your hand at rafting or canoeing, and Betws-y-Coed, with some wonderful waterfall walks. Snowdon itself is just 20 miles away. These wonderful holiday cottages provide an excellent base for a nice relaxing break or a more adventurous holiday in a beautiful part of Wales anytime of the year.
This beautiful cottage offers good quality, spacious accommodation throughout with a light, bright open plan living area with comfy seating, a wonderful warming woodburner and patio doors leading out to a seating area, and enjoying glorious views across open countryside to the hills beyond.
