  • "We had a lovely holiday."

Bryn Aber Bach is a beautiful cottage. The ensuite bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of drawers and wardrobes (with enough coat hangers even for me). There's a proper rustic feel in the lounge with its inglenook fireplace and log burner. A fully equipped light and airy kitchen opening onto the back garden with the fabulous hot tub, garden furniture and gas BBQ. We used the hot tub every night after a long day out walking in the countryside and the lovely local beaches. We have really enjoyed everything about the cottage and its location. We will definitely be back. The owners Greg and Ursula were absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and lovely to chat to. Overall we have had a fantastic stay here - one of the best we've ever stayed in for cleanliness, facilities, location and friendliness. See you soon Bryn Aber Bach!

  • "The owners, Greg and Ursula could not have been more friendly and helpful."

The cottage itself was immaculate and extremely cosy. We all slept so well due to the comfy beds! They had thought of everything that we might have needed in the cottage. The dogs also loved their holiday and had such fun on the local beaches (as did we). The cottage is in a lovely quiet location, just the lambs and birdlife to listen to. There was also easy access to Snowdonia as well as the coastline. So much more to explore though... Thanks Greg and Ursula for a lovely holiday in your holiday home. We hope to be back!

Thank you for the kind review and we're glad everyone got home safe and sound. It was something of a journey for you to reach us. The quietness in the village is something we also really appreciate and is very relaxing. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, best wishes Greg and Ursula Property Owner

  • "An absolutely lovely property, with everything you need."

It’s a really quiet location and a great base for exploring the area, whether you are wanting to find beautiful beaches or head out for a days walking. A refreshing place to stay with you doggie where they are free to continue to be part of the family, being allowed everywhere in the cottage. The hot tub was a treat too - esp after those long walks! The information pack was so helpful with local information too - it made the stay even more lovely. Would thoroughly recommend as a great find. We have already rebooked.

Thanks for the lovely review. We're really looking forward to seeing you all again in August. Best wishes Greg and Ursula. Property Owner

  • "Just returned home from the most beautiful week at this stunning property."

The cottage is lovely, clean and comfortable and has everything you need with a perfect little enclosed garden for our 2 dogs. Ursula and Gregg (and Bella) were fantastic and we loved the welcome hamper and home made brownies and treats for our dogs. Always so friendly and helpful and were so kind to offer us a lift to the nearby pub on our last night. The hot tub is stunning, its huge and so relaxing after exploring all the nearby beaches and mountains. The cottage is within 20-30min drive from most places. Highly recommend nearby beaches such as Llanbedrog, Abersoch and Black Rock Sands our dogs loved it! Also highly recommend the Ty Coch Inn pub which is about 20min drive, lovely spot for a pint and very dog friendly. There is also a really nice dog friendly pub/restaurant called the Cliff here to which was great (we actually ate here on 2 occasions) and very welcoming, hosts a brilliant pub quiz on a Thursday evening! I would recommend booking places to eat in advance as it was quite busy for mid week in April. There is an Asda store about 10mins away so easy enough to pick up essentials and the cottage is well equipped if you fancy and evening in. Thank you again so much for a lovely stay, we will certainly be back and recommending to friends! Aynsley, Callum, Kathryn, Simon, Indie & Ianto :)

Thank you so much for the lovely review. It was great to have you stay in Bryn Aber Bach and we are so glad you had such a wonderful time. Yes there really are so many fantastic places to visit on the Llyn Peninsula. If guests just came to enjoy the beaches and nothing else, they could stay for two weeks and never have to go to the same beach twice! Thank you. Ursula, Greg and Bella. Property Owner

  • "This is a great little cottage to visit!"

Perfect location to be able to visit all the nearby towns. It’s great that dogs are allowed and the enclosed garden is perfect. The cottage was lovely and clean, and the welcome basket we received was a nice touch! The Hot tub is also a great addition and so nice the the owners emailed a couple of days before to say they could set it at a temperature we wanted. This cottage had everything we needed for our mini break and felt like a home from home ☺️ Would love to visit again!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments and kind words. We are so happy you enjoyed you break with us. You did choose the perfect time as the weather has been delightful. Please do come visit us again, thank you. Property Owner

The house is beautiful without being fussy, very relaxed atmosphere with the very private hot tub. Can't remember a better holiday house, lovely wild birds all around, great for cycling too.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Our local lanes are so quiet and a joy to walk along. Cycling them must have been similarly enjoyable. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "WOW WOW and Thrice WOW!"

!! What can we say..? We had the most wonderful Christmas at Bryn Aber Bach from the moment of arrival until departure. We were warmly welcomed by Ursula, Greg and the beautiful Bella and given a brief tour of the cottage. We were also welcomed with some wonderful home baked scones, jam and mince pies as well as some essentials - milk, welsh butter and cheese and some fabulous peanut butter and banana treats for our dog, Dotty. The cottage had been tastefully decorated for Christmas. The cleanliness was impeccable as were all the facilities, everything you could wish to use in the kitchen is on hand and no detail as been left out even down to everything Dotty needed, The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated and comfortable as are both bathrooms. The Hot tub is absolutely amazing - we spent many an hour warming ourselves listening to the owls and other woodland creatures. Ursula and Greg were on hand for anything that was needed (We ran out of logs one evening and they were more than happy to supply more) but kept a respectful distance even offering to Doggy sit when we went to Portmeirion for the afternoon. Their communication was great and non intrusive - for example, messaging us before coming round to check the hot tub. On Christmas Day we were given some home made chocolate truffles which were absolutely delicious! We thoroughly felt at home whilst staying and cannot wait to return, it is a beautiful cottage, fantastically decorated and catered for and we cannot wait until we can visit again - we really did not want to go home! After staying in many self catering cottages over the years this is by far the best equipped, cleanest, furnished and friendliest place we have stayed. Thank you so much Ursula, Greg and Bella -we hope to return soon. Craig, Sarah, Jack and Dotty.

Thank you for your lovely comments Sarah. We enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to seeing you all again soon. Happy New year. Ursula, Greg and Bella Property Owner

  • "Cottage is beautiful."

Cosy and clean with everything you could ever need. Everything was brand new, they provided milk, bread, butter, cheese, chocolate, coffee, sugar etc which was very thoughtful along with a card to greet us personally. Hot tub is huge. The surrounding area is beautiful. The washer drier and dishwasher was very handy. Owners live next door which we didn't know prior to booking as we like to see nobody on our secluded holidays but they were very curtious. They provided for our dogs too. Treats, blankets, poo bags and dishes. Which was a lovely touch. Only thing I would say is that the listing says two smart televisions but it's only the one which is in the bedroom. But that's only a small bit of feedback as everything else was spot on perfect. Cottage and the rooms down to the carpets were very comfortable and well done.

Thanks so much for your lovely review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you also for pointing out about the TV. The listing has now been updated to reflect a smart TV in the lounge and a Freeview TV in the Master bedroom. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Property Owner
