  • "Stunning location with amazing views of the mountains and sea."

Very comfortable and settled in quickly. Our 2 sons (10&13) loved it. Had everything we needed for our 5 night trip. Definitely would return. Thank you.

  • "We had a wonderful time here in this cottage, the view from the garden was incredible!"

The cottage was comfortable for the three of us and the dog and the owners were very friendly and were happy to give advice about eateries in the local area. The only negatives (which always tend to come in threes) were: that there were no instructions to the cottage as in rules or what the owners wanted us do do with the towels and linen at the end of the holiday There was a broken plug socket in the front room which looked decidedly dodgey The fridge would be triggering to those who are affected by strobe lighting Other than that we had a lovely time and wouldn’t mind staying again. Thank you for a great week!

  • "Had a lovely week."

Cottage was perfect for us, lovely scenery and not too far from Pwllheli. Amazing downstairs wet room, would come back for that alone!!! Owners family were all lovely, friendly and helpful. (if we lived close they are the type of people we would love as friends). Thanks for a great holiday.

  • "Maybe a list with special features of the place in the accommodation, not online, would be nice, like mentioning the somewhat temperamental taps and the shower."

A great place and we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "We had a lovely stay in one of the most peaceful settings you will ever find."

The cottage was very cosy and had everything you needed. The owners were very friendly and an added bonus was having somewhere to walk our dogs. The only slight criticism was that we found the mattress on the double bed a bit hard but we are used to a mjuch softer mattress.

  • "My grandson, puppy dog and I stayed in Feb and the weather was shocking but that didn't stop us from doing everything possible in our 5 days there."

The cottage is super sweet and has everything you need for a lovely break, clean and cosy, Internet and TV. The views are stunning, you can even see the sea from the downstairs bedroom and I can't wait to visit in the summer to make use of the pretty private garden space. It's perfect for the handicapped also as there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom with huge wet room. It's in the perfect location for the whole of the peninsula and even snowdon isn't that much of a drive. The hosts are lovely and have lots of useful information about the area. The photos don't do this cottage justice as its stood by itself and does not form part of the courtyard cottages which makes it even more private. I will certainly be back as soon as possible x

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay in December 2020."

Good things - Owners live next door and were delightful - friendly and very helpful. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy. Its location made it a great base for exploring the beautiful peninsular. Outside tap with hose was useful to wash muddy paws! But - The double bedroom is above the lounge in the roof space and has limited ceiling height. Care needs be taken not to bang your head on the low rafters. There is no door at the bottom or top of the stairs from the lounge to the double bedroom and the bed is directly above the TV. This was a bit annoying if one of you wants to go to bed and the other wants to stay up and watch the TV because the noise disturbed the person going to sleep. Maybe earplugs would have been helpful! There were limited options for dog walks from the cottage - especially in wet weather when the public footpath through fields was extremely muddy.

  • "This is a comfortable and generally well-equipped cottage that proved an excellent base from which to visit the many attractions in the local area."

It does take a bit of finding (sat nav takes you to a slightly different location). Also be aware that this cottage does not open out directly onto the quad as some of the pictures would seem to suggest (not that this was an issue). There is lots of space and quiet areas to sit out in around the site and the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly.
