  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage!"

It was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. It had the beautiful log fire and feature beams in line with the characteristics of a cottage. The welcome pack was a lovely start to our holiday. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable. It certainly lived up to expectations in the brochure and undoubtedly we will return and certainly recommend this cottage to family and friends. Thank you! Catherine and John Murphy

  • "We enjoyed our stay and there was everything that you need at hand."

The welcome basket was a nice touch. If there was one negative and that was the bathroom was always cold and the cottage never got really warm. A great cottage for a sensible price.

We are sorry to hear that you felt that the cottage was cold, a simple phone call to us on the number we provided would have rectified this matter satisfactorily. For your information we have now installed a wireless thermostat so future guests can adjust the heating settings more easily according to their needs. Regards Gavin & Larisa Property Owner

  • "This was our first time booking a holiday cottage from a web site."

We were a little apprehensive, but Nythfa was everything it promised and more. The cottage exceeded our expectations, well furnished, cosy and spotless. The owners left a lovely basket of goodies to welcome us. Perfect location for site seeing, Betws y coed only a short drive away. Would definitely book with Sykescottages again.

About the location

Betws-y-Coed 4 miles; Conwy 10 miles.

Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
