Ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and Anglesea. Lovely quiet setting. No local shop but Caernarfon only a few miles away. Nice clean beach just a few miles away (with free parking). Good facilities in cottage. Worth noting that the fridge, although a good size, does not have an "ice box" section. A small loaf of bread and some milk are there when you arrive. Other items such as toilet rolls, tissues, washing-up liquid are also provided. The bathroom has a lower ceiling height than the rest of the cottage. Anyone over about 6' 3" would find showering difficult. The bath is quite short. No anti-slip bath/shower mat is provided.

Features

  • Off road parking
  • Smoke-free
  • Cot available
  • Highchair available
  • Broadband / WiFi

The village itself offers the traditional Penionyn Tafarn pub serving food, the ideal spot to sit and relax after a day of activities. There is also the Indigo Jones Slateworks, a slate business dating back to the 1860's which has a delightful café and is dog friendly. There is seemingly endless places to see and things to do around Groeslon with the historic town of Caernarfon just a short drive away, and the amazing Isle of Anglesey just slightly further, a place you must visit whilst in North Wales. There is also an abundance of seaside resorts nearby if that's your thing, with Dinas Dinlle, Pwllheli and Porthmadog all within easy reach.
