This fantastic, detached holiday home, Deu Draeth, rests in Bwlchtocyn near Abersoch.

Encased by countryside and sea views over Hells Mouth and Bardsey Island, along with providing a family of eight accommodation that has been finished to a high standard, Deu Draeth is a marvellous base for a self-catering holiday.

After parking outside, make your way upstairs to be welcomed by lovely, nautical interiors, the living/dining room especially showcases these with thoughtful touches, including cushions sporting coastal artwork and a boat-turned-bookcase; the room additionally hosts TV with Sky (including Sky Kids for the little ones) and a fabulous, Smart speaker.

After spending time with your loved ones in the living/dining room and marvelling at those sea views, head into the kitchen to find a contemporary space containing all the essentials required to rustle up a delicious dinner, including a luxurious wine chiller!

Abersoch also hosts two brilliant beaches where the watersports fans of the group will have a ball with the ample surfing and sailing opportunities at-hand, the village also features a fabulous golf club where experienced or beginner-level golfers can partake in its beachfront course.

The close-by village of Llanengan also provides you with plenty to do, with the sprawling Hells Mouth Beach within easy reach, the delightful Sun Inn pub making for a great dining spot and the remains of the historic Llanengan Lead Mine waiting to be explored.

Venture along the coast to find the fantastic settlements of Llanbedrog and Pwllheli, where you will find plenty to see and do; or travel further west to find the quaint village of Aberdaron and its access to a range of glorious viewpoints and walks.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
