  • "The holiday was good and the house large enough for us and in a good location and this is the 3rd year we have stayed."

However the house was not very clean with cobwebs and dirty floors and the issues we reported last year with the showers have only partially been sorted and although the upstairs shower does not now leak into the bathroom below there is mould on the walls and the ceiling has still not been repaired. The beds are not great and it would be good to have better blinds (black out). The outside furniture is in a poor state and was covered in bird mess. Generally the house is looking tired and it doesn't look like there has been any maintenance or improvements over the last couple of years that we have stayed which is a shame as the size/layout and location are good.

  • "Fantastic space and location."

Love the place. However TLC desperately required…. Shower upstairs clearly leaked at one point, the floor and ceiling below require attention. Electricity needed putting back on several times (one of the hob rings plus oven seemed to trip it) Oven took a long time to heat up. Mould in bathrooms - particularly upstairs one. Otherwise fabulous - washer is great to have as is dishwasher. Would love to come back - but TLC needs to be done.

I am pleased to hear that the location of the property was to your liking. In regards to these issues we do have an improvement plan in place. Property Owner

  • "With regard to accuracy of the listing when I booked the property it was listed as 1 king size double, two twins and two singles."

However the singles turned out to be 2 x bunk beds. Indeed one of The online photos gives the impression that there was a single bed in one of the single rooms. Bunk beds are not always suitable for older teens. Had I known this, I wouldn’t have chosen this property. Your website needs to be corrected. It was however good to have matching quality tableware and ample glassware and comfortable beds. Although pegs for hanging washing were supplied there was no evidence of a washing line or clothes maiden. We tried to follow recycling instructions but there was no kitchen caddy for food waste. On arrival my daughter also had to vacuum the bedrooms to remove spiders webs. The age range of my group was mid teens to an octogenarian so it was attractive to have a room each for those that didn’t want to share. All in all a little disappointed.

  • "This is the second year we have stayed as we like the location and size of property."

We did have some issues which we have reported as the upstairs shower leaked into the downstairs bathroom and it was clear that the leak had been ongoing for a while due to the staining on the ceiling. Both showers were erratic with temperature control and are not properly fixed to the wall. Also the kitchen hob trips out the electrics sometimes. Great holiday location but house in need of some maintenance.

  • "The property was lovely, upside down arrangement suited us and we had beautiful views from all the windows."

Our only criticism is that the showers had poor performance. The crockery and glassware were good quality, unfortunately we felt the kitchen cooking utensils were not adequate for a party of 10 people. We appreciate that some clients will eat out or have takeaway meals, we as a family prefer home cooking and the pans were not big enough to make even a basic spaghetti bolognaise for us all, there were no dishes large enough to facilitate our needs. Perhaps clients should be made aware of this and are able to take items with them. We had a wonderful holiday and the nearness to the beaches and coastal paths were excellent many thanks

The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area.
