  • "Lovely location and well presented property for the size of our group, with us each having our own bathroom."

Slight issues, no drinking cups for children - only wine glasses. The dish washer didn’t seem to work.

Thank you for the feedback I have checked the dishwasher and it is working correctly I wish you had contacted me and I would have popped over to look at it If it is stopped mid cycle it needs to go through the wash maybe that is what had happened As to the cups for the children I will address that issue Many thanks PATRICIA Property Owner

We had a good stay it functioned well for our 12 guests only thing i would say is the mixer taps definitely needed in the bathrooms

Glad you all had a good break, I'm a bit confused about suggesting mixer taps in bathrooms, we have modern electric showers in three of them and a sink and tiolet in the other two as shown in the description. Anyway thank you for the possitive feedback. Pat (owner). Property Owner

  • "Spectacular bungalow a stone's throw from the beach."

Leave yourself plenty of time to check out - it's HUGE and there are a lot of places your kids might hide stuff.

Thanks for the review Robert, glad you all enjoyed yourselves . Property Owner

  • "We had a fantastic short break at the cottage."

Starting with the booking process which was simple to the conditions of the booking which were very clear with no great areas. We were regularly updated by email too by Sykes Cottages. The location of the cottage is ideal within walking distance of the beach and promenade. The facilities are excellent and the cottage is clean and well maintained. The only recommendation I would make to the owner is for them to install a garden tap in the front of the premises so that one is able to wash off excess sand after visiting the beach so as not to walk into the cottage with sandy and muddy feet. Otherwise overall we were very satisfied with our stay and we shall definitely be booking again in the future.

  • "Family consisting of grandparents, parents and adult children stayed here for 1 week - 8 adults in total."

We were really lucky with the weather, got a better tan than many a holiday before. House was brilliant, proper disabled access which also included a full wet room and all my mother needed. 100% recommend this accommodation, host could not have done enough for us. Everything available that you would need for a perfect holiday.

They have catered for everyone young and old. If anything was required the caretaker came as soon as possible. One member of our group left a engagement ring and we were phoned the very same day for details of how we were to get it back big thank you for that. Would recommend this place to everyone 100%

We went over New Years with 13 family members from 9 to 70 and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and to do things together. Well equipped kitchen with lovely big table for a family meal and the pool table was a huge hit with everyone. Would definitely recommend xx

  • "This property was plenty spacious and comfortable, it was well stocked with everyday items such as crockery, glasses, kitchen tools and utensils etc."

It was clean and had good quality bedding in every room. If I were to point out one small detail it would be that having bathroom facilities in every bedroom which is a plus in itself but it meant that the water would sometimes flow at a lower pressure but that may well be down to the water board to put right and not the owners. Overall though....extremely satisfied
