This lovely mid-terrace cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac at the entrance of the popular attraction of Portmeirion, in the village of Minffordd.

As the name suggests, there is a very warm welcome awaiting you at this beautifully-presented cottage, which is ideally situated to explore this interesting Italianate village, and is perfect for a family wishing to discover this delightful coastal estuary or even a couple wishing to treat themselves to a romantic getaway.

This quality cottage, with a modern interior, offers three comfortable bedrooms, including a generous king-size double bedroom with a sizable walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with a double walk-in raindrop shower.

There is also a twin and a single bedroom, perfect for the children, and a family bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath for a relaxing dip, just perfect after a busy day walking and exploring the area.

The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area provides the perfect sociable setting for family meals, leisurely breakfasts or a romantic candlelight supper with a loved one.

The kitchen leads through to a cosy snug sitting area with a day bed, TV and complete with a Scandinavian-style woodburner, just perfect for snuggling up to watch your favourite film, or this room adds some flexibility to sleeping arrangements.

Outside this cottage, the rear patio provides an area where you can sit and relax after a busy day seeing the sights, and where you may even hear the occasional whistle of the Ffestiniog Railway steam train, which stops at the station just a few minutes’ walk away.

This beautiful part of North Wales is renowned for its scenic walking, biking and birdwatching, with the Osprey Glaslyn Project just a few miles away.

The Llyn Coastal Path practically passes the door of the cottage, so outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted.

Two miles away is the bustling harbour town of Porthmadog, whilst the Snowdonia National Park encloses this fantastic area of North Wales, with a wonderland of adventure to be found in every direction.

The large village of Penrhyndeudraeth boasts a selection of shops, pubs, a fish and chip shop, Post Office and a railway station which takes you along the Ffestiniog Railway. Just two miles away is the celebrated unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, which was the location of the TV show The Prisoner, and is surrounded by sandy beaches and captivating woodlands. The harbour town of Porthmadog is a little further along, where you can journey along the Ffestiniog Railway to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, "the town that roofed the world". To the north is the pretty village of Beddgelert, which is set around the Afon Glaslyn River and offers craft shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, and an enchanting riverside walk, and it’s also located in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, from where you can spend hours admiring the beautiful scenery on foot or by bike.
