  • "Had a great stay , accommodation was great spacious clean and comfortable, it was a nice surprise to find we had been left milk and teabags for when we arrived , only issue was a radiator in hallway by bathroom banging in the evening really loud so could do with looking at , outside area was lovey also wanted to leave feedback but no pen or pencil."

Otherwise all was good , highly recommend

  • "Appreciate the owner’s flexibility in date change due to personal circumstances."

From a cottage perspective, I can see it is great for an elderly or for the convenience, stay and space of differently abled. But for any other family or couples, it could do with some serious refurbishment and making it livelier and more comfortable. The sofas, bed, mattresses, linens, curtains and central heating are beyond shelf-life and requires complete change. The location is great as all north Wales attractions are fairly reachable and I am sure in summers the beach around the corner would be great fun.

  • "Really lovely stay."

No highchair though like stated. I did put we had an infant with us but this could've been down to hotels.com not recording it properly. Otherwise a lovely place to stay

  • "There were a few issues."

The non stick pans were unusable as the coating was peeling off. The draw of the washing machine was caked with soap. the outdoor furniture was in need of washing down. The doors of the kitchen cupboards were in need of attention as the hinges were loose. The hob covers were in need of a good clean. Instructions for using the microwave would have been useful as it was an older model. The location of the property is very good.

  • "Had a wonderful time at Gerlan."

A member of our party was a wheelchair user and the Cottage was well laid out and suitable for our needs. The lounge had a recliner chair. The sun room was fabulous and spacious for a wheelchair to enter via the side gate and ramp. The kitchen was small and not suitable for a wheelchair user to use but adequate for an able bodied person. The bathroom was a wet room, with a shower chair and grab rails by the toilet. We did not take the wheelchair into the bathroom as our wheelchair user was able to walk a short distance, so cannot say how much room would be available with a wheelchair inside. However, the bathroom was large enough for 2 people (user and carer) to use comfortably. The toilet was a nice height for our wheelchair user but another of our party felt it was a bit low. The twin bedroom had an electric care bed (adjustable) with bed rails. It is so difficult to find good quality accommodation that meets the needs of disabled people. Gerlan provided that accommodation and ensured that all members of our party (abled bodied and disabled ) had an equally wonderful stay. We are already planning our return for next year. Thank you.

  • "OMG.. The cottage was lovely"

. Well thought out. Comfortable, amazing and ideal for my husbands mobility needs. When plannning a holiday, I have to take so many factors into consideration, space, comfort accessability and this ticked all the right boxes, even had an electric rising chair, we have one at home for my husbands comfort... He was so happy and if he is happy then, heyho a perfect holiday is guaranteed all round. Thank you for letting out this cottage and we can't wait to return back in April. This may become one of our regular lets. xx
