The property

Bywyd Da, Welsh for ‘Good Life’, is an excellent, semi-detached holiday home situated in Abersoch.

Resting in the peaceful Cae Du estate, lying a short distance from Abersoch’s High Street and beaches, Bywyd Da is a fantastic base for a family or group of eight’s coastal holiday.

After parking in the ample off-road spaces for three cars, head inside to find two stylish ground-floor king-size rooms, one featuring warm tones and coastal finishes, and the other sporting a spacious interior; both rooms boast plenty of storage for your things.

The ground-floor bedrooms share a sleek shower room, a space showcasing contemporary tiling and a spacious walk-in shower.

Climb the stairs to discover a stunning open-plan living space, a room showcasing rustic, exposed beams that complement the contemporary fittings.

The sitting area contains leather sofas for you and your loved ones to stretch out on as you watch your favourite show on the wall-mounted TV; the sitting area opens out to a sunny balcony, with more seating for you to relax on as you catch the rays.

The kitchen is an impressive spot and boasts high-gloss fittings that house integrated appliances, including a handy built-in microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Just behind the kitchen is a fantastic dining area, with cream, leather seating for you to settle down on as you enjoy a tasty meal accompanied by a glass of wine.

Ascend the stairs again to come across two more bedrooms, the first one being a double with calming blues and greens throughout, and a lovely twin room that is superb for the kids; both rooms feature skylights and enjoy shared access to a brilliant bathroom that showcases bath and illuminated mirror, so you can get ready in style.

The rear garden is a marvel that has been created with tranquillity in mind; not only does it feature manicured landscaped but contains sun loungers and outdoor seating for you to take advantage of.

Meander into the village and grab your essentials from the amply-equipped SPAR, before savouring a local ale from The Vaynol, and venturing down to the fabulous beaches surrounding the village; the golf club also isn’t fair, why not stop for a game?

Spend the day in Llanbedrog, where you can pay the impressive art gallery & café of Plas Glyn y Weddw a visit and enjoy a movie at the open-air cinema during the summer months; the village is also home to a range of eateries and a popular beach that is waiting to be explored.

Enjoy an outing in Pwllheli, where sports fans can spend some time at the town’s Leisure Centre with a pool, tennis courts and children’s activities; tour the quaint Oriel Y Mor art museum, before basking in the sun on Traeth Glan-y-Don or Traeth Marian-y-De.

There is plenty to see in this part of Wales, with the fantastic fortress of Castell Criccieth, the heritage centre of Nant Gwrtheyrn and the exciting Glasfryn Parc just a short drive away.

Create long-lasting memories with your loved ones from Bywyd Da.

About the location

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
