  • "Really well equipped, home from home."

Great, quiet location and in easy reach of everything you need for a cracking break away from it all. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay, plenty of space with a great open plan living space and dining area, which was very welcome as the weather was very wet and wild when we stayed, so we appreciated the house's many creature comforts to be able to weather the storm!

  • "The house is nice and the kitchen and bathrooms are good."

The toaster is faulty and the owner messaged me on Day 1 to say he already knew and would swap it but this didn't happen. The mattresses are old and the springs are broken or they are very cheap ones. Either way they are extremely uncomfortable and disrupted sleeping. The king size one also gave my husband and I backache. Decent mattres It's a shame that this marred our family holiday. Towels are also small; some bath sheets would be better. On reflection we had a nice holiday because the area is beautiful but we were glad to get home for a good night's sleep.

  • "Would of preferred a washing machine instead of a dishwasher, more comfortable pillows for sleeping on and more seating in the living area , previous booking had left the garden cushions outside and on the floor to get wet and ruined which wasn’t very nice of them ."

Just a fresh coat of paint to the house overall happy with our stay .

  • "The house is in a very convenient location with ample parking."

The lounge area is very small not sure how you would seat 8 people comfortably. Dining area great with ample space for eight people The kitchen is fantastic, good choice of crockery and drinking glasses but the saucepans, tray and fry pans were terrible, non stick coating totally worn away. The bathroom was great and downstairs shower room fine. Bedrooms ok but only two with any wardrobe space. All in all not a bad house for a short stay but for us it didn’t have the comfort factor.

  • "Lovely spacious home in an ideal location a few minutes walk to the Cliffs and the beach."

We booked one year in advance and we were very disappointed to see the property listed at £1000 less than we paid for the week before and after we stayed (still in the summer holidays) a week before our holiday. The property is lacking a washing machine.

  • "I have already made a complaint regarding the property it was absolutely filthy ."

I cleaned the property myself cause I just wanted to start my holiday and deal with it when I got home . Which was a massive mistake because despite the pictures that were dated and taken the following morning nobody wanted to acknowledge them and I didn’t even get a sorry . When I called Sykes the operator was really rude to me said he would get back to me and I’m still waiting . It’s really upsetting to be honest .

  • "This was a great property for a family holiday, ideally situated in a quiet residential area but also very convenient for nearby beaches and coastal path walks."

There is an excellent shop, a mini launderette, a beach cafe/play area and a very good restaurant/bar all close by. The property itself is spacious, well equipped and very clean. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of storage space in the rooms and the 2 shower/bathrooms were very clean on arrival. A couple of minor issues which would have been helpful: A lid for the box to store outdoor cushions. A washing machine! The launderette was expensive. The ‘features’ on the website needs to include that there is a fridge/freezer, not just a fridge. A brilliant holiday in a really lovely house. We’d definitely recommend this property.

  • "Lovely property at an excellent location near a beautiful beach."

The cottage was lovely and had a spacious family area. A few things like salt/ pepper/a few teabags would’ve been useful as would’ve some information on things to do in the local area. That said it wouldn’t stop us booking again to this beautiful part of Wales.

  • "A lovely roomy place to stay and just a couple of minutes walk from the most stunning of beaches."

Large enclosed patio area with locked gate so great for bike/kayak storage. Bathroom was spacious and the downstairs toilet/shower room was great. A very well equipped kitchen but we could have done with a few more pyrex/ovenproof dishes for cooking purposes. The property lends itself to family gatherings and the large table and benches are a great place for the family to sit down together. A well stocked shop and garage is only a two minute walk away too, that does takeaway pizzas if you don't want to cook. Would highly recommend the Chippy in the village too. Considering we were the first guests to arrive following the easing of lockdown restrictions, everything was well prepared and ready for us to arrive. Thank you

WE HAD FAMILY AND FRIENDS STAYING AND VISITING OVER THE WEEK AND COULD NOT OF BEEN BETTER PLACED WITH A LOVELY SUNTRAP GARDEN WITH COSY SEATING AND AN ENCLOSED GARDEN NOT OVERLOOKED. THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND BEACHES ARE PERFECT. WE ALSO BROUGHT OUR DOG WHO ENJOYED THE ENCLOSED GARDEN AND OPEN ASPECT LOUNGE/KITCHEN APART FROM THE BEACHES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. WI FI IS NOT BRILLIANT BUT CONSIDERED THAT IS THE AREA .

  • "Great house for a family holiday, nicely presented, no frills accommodation, with everything you need, including sun trap garden."

Great quiet location just 5 minutes walk to well stocked village shop and pizza takeaway, the same 5 minute walk to The Cliffs dining pub, where we had a lovely meal (with sea views). Less than 10 minute walk gets you onto Morfa Nefyn beach where a lovely stroll along the bay takes you to Porthdinillean where a pint (or two) on the beach from The Ty Coch Inn is a must. Boasted as one of the iconic beach hostelries in the world, I wouldn't disagree !! We didnt have opportunity for a round of golf this time but a walk along the coastal path over Nefyn Golf Course is stunning as is the path in the opposite direction to Nefyn beach and beyond. Having not stayed in this area for quite some years it quickly reminded us what an amazing part of Wales this is !!!!

Morfa Nefyn is a small village on the North Llyn coast with direct access to the beach. The cottage is newly refurbished and comfortable. The owners have taken care to ensure that everything you may need is available for a wonderful stay. The patio is a sun trap and a great place to catch the early evening sun. I come to the Llyn Peninsula a couple of times each year. Will definitely be back to stay at this cottage. Thanks again for a great holiday.
