  • "There was a problem with the toilet flush."

I phoned the owner and the problem was sorted by the evening although the plumber had to come out twice as it had not been fixed the first time. More storage space would be good - all the drawers were really small. As we were there for 2 weeks I would have liked to see an iron and ironing board but was told there was no room to keep them. Having said that, there was room for a Christmas tree in our wardrobe! Everything else was absolutely great. Amazing location - so close to the beach.

Stones throw away from the beach, the location was just what we needed for two children with little legs. The village has everything you need! The apartment had everything we needed and more! Ocean bingo was the best board game! The kids loved the fishing nets and kites. Can’t wait to book and come back!

  • "A wonderful apartment in a great location."

Tina was a fabulous host. We loved the area, lots of beautiful walks and the weather was very kind to us. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The garden is shared, and note it was not secure if bringing a dog, but only a minor point, you are 2mins from the beach so it didn’t bother us but I’d read previous reviews saying it was secure. We can’t wait to come back again, and will be looking to book asap for next year.

Its just minutes to the beach and the headland and the bus stop is 2 minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable and very clean with everything that we needed. On site safe car parking is a real bonus as it will get very busy in the summer. We walked the coastal path and enjoyed the stunning scenery. The local pubs all open this weekend so we didn't get chance to eat out apart from at the Nefyn Golf Club who are very welcoming to none members. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we will be back in two weeks with our friends. Thank you so much for a great stay.

  • "We needed 3 key things when we selected this apartment, ground floor bedroom for mum with mobility issues, dog friendly and at theist 2 double beds with 3 bedrooms."

In addition we got a welcoming living space which allowed us to share time together. Loved the beach theme throughout and the lovely garden behind. When I’m the apartment you were hardly aware that you were in a complex with other people, there was no noise at all. The location is superb, the beach was accessible with an electric buggy and only a few minutes away. There are a variety of walks for dogs in the village and it is obvious that most owners act responsibly using the convenient waste bins. We were lucky with the weather but this would have been a lovely place to stay no matter what.

Hi, Sorry to hear you felt the apartment was not up to its normal standard. Regarding your concerns: A new bathroom was fitted in the 2021 lockdown. A new kitchen, fridge, freezer and extractor fan is being fitted this week. We will also get the door handles changed soonest. Look forward to welcoming you back to the refurbished apartment soon. We found we really appreciated the little touches. We arrived and it was clean mith fresh milk, bread and biscuits left for us on our arrival. We weren't expecting that. It was super spacious with a comfy corner sofa and a lovely modern bathroom with a rain type shower. We ordered takeout most of our stay so didn't use the kitchen much but it was perfect for us. The location was a good base for trips out and the beach at morfa nefyn was ideal for dog walks in morning and evening. We would definitely return. Also for anyone concerned about the "first come first serve" parking In the description. We found it to be ample and there was always 1 or 2 spaces. Thank you

  • "Although we enjoyed our holiday in the apartment we were disappointed with certain aspects of the cleaning."

The fridge and microwave hadn’t been wiped out and cleaned properly. There was quite a lot of food presumably left by previous occupants in the cupboards which we had to move, throw some out as they were well out of date and clean the shelves ourselves so that we could make use of them. In our view the bathroom had had a superficial clean, the toothbrush holder was a disgrace and we didn’t use it. The plug in the basin was also pretty horrid! The shower itself needed a ‘deep’ clean!!! We were a little taken aback to find these ‘problems’ with the cleaning as the previous reviews for the property had made mention of the cleanliness and we would have thought that with the present Covid 19 pandemic where the emphasis is on cleanliness amongst other things we were not anticipating any problems in this direction. We have stayed in a number of Sykes properties throughout the UK and have never found it necessary to make any derogatory comments before! It’s up to your company whether you publish our feedback.
