  • "Comfortable accommodation but we found it cold - underfloor heating not very effective especially as large rugs on floor - does have log burner but nothing supplied Beds comfortable and clean."

Issue with electric light switch sorted efficiently by housekeeping/owner Parking good and local convenience store opposite. Yard could do with cleaning as let’s outside down Location good for visiting Llyn peninsula 5pm arrival was rather late and 3pm would be better

Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry that there was an issue with the light switch, but appreciate you noting that it was dealt with immediately. As for the arrival time, unfortunately our experience has been that the cleaning time required after some visitors is longer than it should be. The vast majority our our wonderful guests treat the property with love, care and attention; we want to make sure that Capel is in the best condition possible when you start your holiday. However, we will look into improving on the arrival time if at all possible. Once again, Thank you for choosing Capel Tabernacl. Property Owner

i have put a smiley face for comfort because we found the beds gave us all discomfort but that maybe just us. overall i would give CAPEL 10 out of 10.no disrespect to the owners.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We were not offended by your feedback and accept that everyone has very different requirements when it comes to beds and bedding. We have never had any complaints about the beds - so yours is a first!! Thank you for choosing Capel Tabernacl and we hope you choose us again! Property Owner

  • "The property was excellent, as described and with very good facilities."

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms large, the main bedroom had a good ensuit. My only concern was our inability to find how to work the small/ grill/ microwave oven. We discovered the manual on our last evening and then got some idea of to use it! Perhaps leaving the manual easily visible maybe a good idea. But it was an enjoyable place to stay, and many thanks for the bottle of Prosecco and the milk, all four of us, after difficult drives liked that friendly touch.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We will look at how to better signpost the cooker functions more readily for guests. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you choose Capel Tabernacl again Property Owner

Very well equipped with modern kitchen with expensive equipment ,good shop with hot cooked food opposite . The dog loved it and very safe for her. Highly recommend and would visit again

  • "We had an exceptional stay."

Slight issue with the pole being broken in the downstairs bedroom which my husband was able to fix. The upstairs bedroom light switch was also broken but we were able to manage with the other switches. We had no heating on one night but this was very quickly rectified the very next day. The area is absolutely beautiful and the locals really friendly. I would advise booking tables in the local pubs as they become very popular, very quickly. Loads of day trips out right on your step, plenty to do and see. We will definitely be returning for another stay and this property will be our first choice!

Thank you for your kind comments and constructive feedback. The small issues you highlighted have all been fixed. It’s always appreciated and we look forward to seeing you again! Property Owner

The renovation has been done beautifully. The bedrooms are all very large with plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed, and the log fire was a bonus. The area is absolutely beautiful with fabulous dog walks. The booking itself was so easy, and we were kept up to date continuously before we went. Faultless service. We had a wonderful stay.

  • "Lovely house, beautiful location."

Couldn’t have asked for better and I would recommend it. Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch. The rugs were covered in dog hairs and smelt really bad. There was sharp broken plastic under the sofa, not ideal with 2 crawling babies, and they’d not been cleaned under for a while, sane as the beds. All the Cutlery had to be washed as something sticky had been spilt on it and left.

  • "The Chapel was exactly as advertised, we would certainly return, but the location was a little busier than we would like, this is not a negative as the chapel was stunning."

All the comments in the visitor book looked as though the owner had resolved the problems. Showers always hot and working, the only thing i would add, is, the bathroom downstairs only had one piece of rubber at the bottom of the shower door, this is supposed to stop the water leaking from the shower to the floor, but as the shower was so powerful, the shower head turned by itself and soaked the floor as there was minimal rubber to stop the water from leaking out. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked The area is probably very busy in the summer, but great in Feb (we always have holidays out of season to avoid the crowds). Great meal in the Cliff pub, and the local beach is well worth a visit

The property

Capel Tabernacl is a delightful holiday home nestled in the seaside village of Morfa Nefyn, on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula. The property has been carefully split into two luxurious and spacious holiday homes.

Both are decorated in a contemporary style.

The interior is bright and contemporary, whilst still retaining elements of the buildings past in the form of arched wooden doorways and impressive arched windows.

The open fireplace contains a wood burning stove which keeps the open-plan living space warm in the winter months, and the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding.

The sitting room has triple-height ceilings making it feel incredibly spacious and a relaxing space with sofas and chairs set around the beautifully crafted fireplace, made using local slate.

Look forward to catching up with your favourite shows on the provided TV with Freeview, or enjoy a family night in with the various board games and books available.

Behind the sofa is a dining table and chairs, perfect for gathering for a deliciously prepared home-cooked meal over a well-deserved glass of wine.

This leads into the contemporary kitchen, which is equipped to the highest-standard with a Neff oven and hob, a dishwasher, whilst the utility room provides a washer/dryer for your convenience.

On the ground floor is a delightful double bedroom with an ornamental fireplace and supported by its own family bathroom with an elegant bath and shower over, so you can enjoy a warm soak in the tub at the end of a tiring day.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with a lovely glazed wall and a king-size bed, supported by an en-suite shower room, whilst the second floor is another bedroom with twin beds, also with its own en-suite shower room.

Outside is an enclosed garden enjoying decking and patio areas with garden furniture, ideal for sitting out in the sunshine with your morning cup of coffee, in the evenings you can sit out here an enjoy an evening under the stars.

Capel Tabernacl is based in Morfa Nefyn, a sweet seaside village on the Llyn Peninsula, resting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with incredible vistas, stunning coastline and plenty of sandy beaches and coves.

The local shop displays fresh seasonal produce in the traditional greengrocer style.

Nefyn golf course is close by, you can walk to Porth Dinllaen and enjoy a pint of beer at the Ty Coch Inn, one of the best beach bars in the world.

From here you can explore both down the coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula, ride a steam train, make the most of walks and cycle routes.

You can even head over into Snowdonia and explore the delights of the mountains.

The best bits of North Wales are in easy reach.

Capel Tabernacl is the ideal holiday cottage for a fabulous family seaside break.
