  • "Haul A Gwynt is a stunning property, beautifully furnished and incredibly welcoming."

The beds in every room we’re comfortable and it was clear that the duvets, mattresses and pillows were of a high end quality. Susanna, the owner, was so helpful and kept in touch with me with any queries I had. We would definitely book again.

We didn't want to leave. The house is lovely and very, very well equipped with everything you might possibly need. The weather was all we could have hoped for, with only rain for some of us who visited The Greenwood Country Park. Otherwise it was practically wall to wall sunshine. We would all love to return to Haul a Gwynt.

Good Morning Thank you SO much for your lovely comments on Haul a Gwynt. Whilst I can’t take credit for the lovely weather, your appreciation of our efforts to make the house welcoming, comfortable and special, are gratefully received Property Owner

Many thanks Emma for taking the time to review and very happy that your stay was so enjoyable. The better weather that blessed your long weekend was a very welcome addition to the festivities I’m sure. All the very best for the coming year and thanks for the tip on QR codes for local attractions. The photos do not do it justice. Great position for a short walk to the beach and to Ty Coch Inn apparently voted in the top ten beach bars in the world and we can understand why. A highlight of our weekend. 2 more pubs/ restaurants close by. Owner was very responsive to our enquiries. Glad to recommend it and we will certainly try to do a return visit.

Hello Ian and family Thank you SO much for your lovely comments. I think that were the weather a deciding factor in the overall score, 100% would have been unattainable these past 7 days!!! Property Owner

We had 3 generations staying in the house and with 2 of the 3 bedrooms being on the ground floor it was ideal. The cottage is in the centre of the village close to shops, takeaways , restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. Susanna the host was fantastic, we will be recommending to all of our friends and will definitely be back. The cottage we found to be centrally located for exploring the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and beyond. Overall cannot fault anything about the fantastic Haul a Gwynt cottage.

Many thanks for your lovely comments and pleased you had a great stay. Shame about Storms Dudley and Eunice but they didn’t stop you enjoying your time in Morfa Property Owner

  • "Haul a gwynt is a fabulous place to stay."

Spotlessly cleaned and presented like a show home. Well equipped with everything you need...except maybe a dustpan and brush!! Convenient for local shops, pubs and beaches. One of the downstairs bedrooms has the use of quite a basic a shower room compared to the rest of the property (but still nice!) Dining room table just about big enough to accommodate 10 adults. Unfortunately, the weather was not nice enough for use to use the outdoor area but maybe a hot tub would be the cherry on top of the icing on the cake!! Big thankyou to Susanna for allowing her property to be used by us and have such a fabulous time with our friends and also a big thankyou to Tracey who brought us some towels that we were missing and keeps the property spotlessly clean.

Hi Julie Anne Thankyou so much for the wonderful and much appreciated feedback. When somewhere’s been a much loved family home for 40 years, knowing new guests can carry on its history of good times and relaxation is a huge plus. Dustpan and brush DO go walkabout but are usually on the shelf above the kitchen waste bins. I’m afraid there are no plans however for a hot-tub. At my age I’d most likely put my hip out climbing in Property Owner

Wow, what an amazing beautiful house. Susanna, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and very communicative. All instructions very clear prior to arrival. The house was immaculate. Every bedroom and bathroom looked like a show house. The beds were so comfortable. Every last detail had been thought of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had two dogs with us and the back garden was perfect for them, completely enclosed and safe. The property is situated in a very good location, the beach in walking distance. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be returning for another visit.

Stunning from the second you open the door. Wonderfully spacious and decorated to the highest quality. The owners have thought of everything you could need and are so friendly in correspondence. 5 stunning bedrooms and 4 equally wonderful bathrooms (the master is something quite special! ) fabulous lighting throughout, which continues in the garden, a beautiful spot for sitting out in the evening on the lovely array of garden furniture. I really didn't want to come home. After stopping in many holiday lets, all of which have been great, this tops the list! Very handy for the beautiful beach, and the Ty Coch pub, well worth a visit ( 15 minute walk ), a garage and convenience store and a great restaurant ( The Cliffs ) and easy access to Pwllheli and Abersoch. Very highly recommended.

Use the Pay By Phone app for parking but always take plenty of pound coins as well just in case you get phone issues! Haul A Gwynt was spacious and comfortable - really couldn't fault it. However, it is on a crossroads so keep your wits about you when driving in / out.

  • "This is a beautiful, high standard, good quality home from home."

The owners have thought of everything. There was a tasty fruit cake and 2 bottles of wine to welcome us. The owner had sent a message full of information beforehand. The only addition that would help is specific directions as all the houses have names rather than numbers. We ordered an ASDA shop to be delivered as we arrived but the house has all the basics (best supplied Skye Cottage we have rented) and the local store is very well stocked. We are a family of 3 couples, 2 young children and a dog. The only issue for us was having both children upstairs in separate rooms, as we wanted parents near by and upstairs away from our evening noise. All adults or older children it wouldn't be an issue. The garden is enclosed and perfect for dogs and children. The kitchen is very well equipped to a very high standard. Bedding and towels are also of high quality. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, again to high standard. We made good use of the new BBQ and garden. The owner and housekeeper responded quickly and solved any queries we had. Fabulous area to stay. Easy reach of stunning beaches and countryside. Villagers we had contact with were friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend.

A beautiful sunny week(in February!) and a stunning cottage to go home to. The house is so spacious with plenty of room. It easily accommodated our family of 10 (and a dog) with room for everyone to spread out. Bathrooms were simply not a problem as there are 4 to choose from. The whole house is tastefully decorated to an extremely high standard, lots of design ideas to take away. Table tennis was fun too. Susanna(the owner) thinks of everything and was very helpful. We accidentally left a shopping bag there and she was so kind to get it delivered back to us. Morfa Nefyn is our favourite spot in North Wales, we've been twice this year! We'll be back, thank you.

  • "We were lucky enough to be the first guests in this truly amazing home."

Despite a long 8 hour journey (thanks to a sat nav detour!) with a 3 year old and a spaniel the first thing we said when we walked through the door was "Well that was worth it" and after just a quick look around I proclaimed to my husband "I think I could actually live here!" We have over the last 14 years stayed in many holiday homes but never has one been as exceptional as this. The attention to detail, the quality of everything, the "I forgot" jar, the amazing welcome basket that catered for all of us even the dog, the welcoming and informative texts and all the "little things" that holiday homes don't normally have but you really need - Haul A Gwynt had it all! The other thing it definitely had was a feeling of being at home, it was beautiful and comfortable and we could happily relax and be "at home". Then to top it all off the village is spectacular, small but everything you need on your doorstep, 10 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the playground, 2 minutes walk to the various shops which look small but have everything you need including a butchers/deli/fresh cakes etc etc, 5 minute walk to the Chippy (very nice they were too!). We also spotted a local brewery not far past the playground, a pizza place, a bar/restaurant, a beach bar.....all within walking distance! I could rave about this week we had all day long but I think you get the idea.....book a stay here and you will not be disappointed, we can't wait to go back!
