  • "We enjoyed our holiday here."

The bungalow is lovely and very comfortable. All your needs are catered for and the location is just perfect. The walks around the golf course and surrounding areas are superb. We can highly recommend a stay here. A little gem on the Llyn Peninsular.

  • "The key safe is very stiff to use, so much so that I took out the key with us daily."

Smoke alarm batteries had run low and made a noise for 3 days before they ran out. It would be good if a hairdryer was provided in 1 bedroom at least. Bathroom glass shelf very dusty……I have given this feedback on the dust to the cleaning company. Apart from that we loved the location of the property, good quality bed linen and towels….all immaculate. Perfect location for golf and the beach. Nice breakfast cafe opposite, good bar meals at the golf club. Lovely walks from the area……..highly recommend the Ty Coch……..will definitely be returning and would recommend.

  • "We had the most amazing time spending Christmas here."

The property is beautiful, modern and cozy. The key code was a little bit stiff and needed a little encouragement to open. It was lovely arriving and finding the Christmas tree lights on (This helped us find light switches). Highly recommended.

  • "Bit of a shock coming from our super king-size bed at home to a standard double but that's probably as big as the double room can take."

The info file explained everything clearly which is always a big plus. Just a couple of minor issues, otherwise everything was fine. We couldn't open the key box on arrival but ultimately managed to open it accidentally by pushing it inwards a bit. There needs to be a replacement general waste bag supplied (we couldn't locate one) so that waste generated between Thu evening when the bins are put out and departure on Fri morning can be accommodated.

Thank you for your comment. Am sorry to hear the size of the bed was not what you are used to at home, the particulars do state "double room" and the bed is a standard double. The mattress is new so I do hope you found it comfortable. As regards the bins - the request is to ensure the outside bins are in the driveway Thursday night for collection Friday morning, as the refuse company collect on a Friday morning. You can choose to empty the bins inside the cottage on Thursday evening or Friday morning when you depart. There are small biodegradable waste bags both under the sink and in the bottom kitchen drawer, that would fit one evening of waste if you so required. It is a self-catering cottage so we don't supply multiple black bags. Property Owner

  • "Very happy with our first stay at Trem Y Garn."

The location is ideal - a short walk to the beautiful beaches, cafe nearby and local pubs within a 5 min walk or short drive. The property was very clean and tidy on arrival, good quality bedding and towels!, all the facilities we needed. The private garden was well equipped and nicely maintained. Plenty of parking space in front of the house. We'll be back. Thank you.

  • "Very impressed with the exterior of the cottage but disappointed with the interior."

The decor is very tired especially the ceiling in the living room, which is cracked and unsightly. Saying that we still enjoyed our week here because the location is great. I think a three tick rating from Sykes would be more accurate.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Trem Y Garn. As owners we do not choose our tick rating, this is decided by Sykes and is based on the facilities available at the property. We are aware that there are some cracks in the living room ceiling, unfortunately interior redecoration was delayed during Covid and is now planned for the quieter winter season. We hope this did not affect your stay and you still enjoyed your holiday to Morfa Nefyn. Property Owner

  • "This was our second visit, we had rebooked for 2020 but had to reschedule for this year."

The cottage was perfect with everything we needed and very comfortable. We had hoped to book another 2 weeks again for next year but the price has been raised by just under 50% which is unaffordable for us!!! We think this is extortionate. We would like to stress we have no problem with the property.

Thank you for highlighting this to us, we had not been aware of this and is due to the Sykes automated pricing system, this now being addressed, we hope to welcome you back again as you are a valued customer. Property Owner

  • "Very nice cottage in a good location."

Comfortable, good quality furnishings. A pleasant, private rear garden which was a lovely place to sit after a days walking. One very small criticism, the curtains in the back bedroom are very thin and let all the daylight through. But, that would not stop me from booking this cottage again.

Thank you for your feedback, this has already been noticed and we have since taken new curtains to the property. Property Owner

It is very comfortable, well furnished and had everything we needed .Lovely situation just a short walk from the beach on a quiet road up to the golf course. The weather was kind to us and we even got the opportunity to sit in the sheltered garden which is very private and a good outside space. We would love to stay again if we are ever back in beautiful North Wales.

  • "The cottage on the inside was beautiful the garden and outside areas was not."

The rear garden was was badly in need of some attention with weeds everywhere growing out of the beds and the patio area. The front garden was no better again weeds and rubbish everywhere. The whole of the outside area including the fabric of the building was in very poor condition. Needless to say we will not be staying at this property again. Lovely on the inside but a shambles on the outside.

We were saddened to hear that the garden was a mess and apologise that it had an impact on your holiday. We were unaware of the unkempt state of the garden as this had not been communicated to us by our property management company. This has now been rectified and a regular gardener is in attendance to maintain the outside areas. We aim to maintain standards of what we would expect when booking a holiday cottage and apologise that these were not maintained. We hope you enjoyed your stay and would like to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

Bungalow floors could have been a little cleaner.Heating controls need better explanation!! Parking two cars at this Bungalow is possible but not ideal....!

Thank you for your feedback. We have addressed the cleanliness issue with the cleaners and send their apologies. With reference to the heating controls, we are making it easier for guests to operate via a single remote control. Plans have been made to change the parking at the property and as soon as the property is available this will be done, in the short term there is additional parking at the National Trust car park at the end of the road. • "We spent a very enjoyable week at this comfortable and well equiped bungalow in a really good location."

The freezer in the kitchen was very welcome and useful, but it was not listed in the details of the property. We did find the heating abit of a challange as was the hot water supply. We would certainly book this bungalow again in the future Lovely.

Thank you for your feedback. The owner advised that the heating has recently been installed and it is programmed to go on morning and evening. The temperature can be altered by the up and down arrows which can be found on each individual storage heater. Taking on board the feedback from yourself and other guest ,we have decided to simplify the heating controls. The property will now have one central remote control to adjust the heating making it more user friendly, instructions are left in the cottage for everyone's convenience. Property Owner

Morfa Nefyn and the surrounding countryside were beautiful and we liked being so close to beaches. The local shop was amazing and we didn't need to shop anywhere else all week. Arrival instructions were spot on. The bungalow had everything we needed. Very minor grumble was the absence of a replacement light bulb for the dining room...it 'blew' on our last night...no major problem as we used a table lamp.

The owner apologies for the light issues and advised the lamp was brand new and didn't expect the bulb to blow. Spare bulbs for the lamp and all the lights can be found in the kitchen cupboard that houses the boiler, thanks for letting us know. Property Owner
