  • "It was a cheap price property available online and seems perfect for our family holiday but it was our wrong assumption; owner was unexpectedly rude and treated us unprofessionally Check in locker code email was not received until we called the owner last night before we travel."

She sent the code but also start sending messages at our mobile, she was telling us she had bad experiences previously and she had to claimed good housekeeping bond. It was important for her to let us know that ‘’ she did not want to make out everyone let children run wild’’ at property. it was distressing for us when we are about to travel. There was a strong bio gas smell in the air when we arrived first day; anyhow we saturate it in a day. There were some small issues at property during stay but we avoid contacting owner. Last day was the worst day when she came to the property herself at our check out, even though we all other family and stuff was already out in our car, my husband was final clearing the house when she jumped into the property and asked him to leave the property and had argument with him. We left the property but still received harassing message, she was blaming and telling that she made complaint to police, No idea what complaint she made about. Unbelievable, So unprofessional approach, Stay was not less than shame

  • "We had a lovely stay at Briar house, the house was absolutely spotless when we arrived."

The property had everything we needed, was really comfortable and suited us as a family of four well. We took our 4 and 1 year old and the location was brilliant. There's a great park 2 minutes away, Chester zoo within half an hour and the local beaches all within 30 mins. Lovely little garden to use, there were accounts set up for Netflix/BBC/channel 4 etc so didn't need to use your own. Owner was lovely and contacted us before arrival and after departure. We had an accident at the house on the last morning and the owner was very understanding and accommodating. We definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback and positive comments . You are welcome back anytime. Property Owner

  • "This is a really nice place to stay."

Very cosy in the winter. The driveway is a bit narrow but that's really the only challenge.

Thank you and glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "Addition of terrestrial tv channels for entertainment."

External rotary dryer or clothes line for longer stays in good weather. Extend the off street parking by 18” on both sides to prevent muddy exit to car and taking into the property. Not an issue if dry. Larger fridge freezer eg 60/40 Dishwasher Nets or blinds in main bedroom window. Garden furniture for summer use

Thank you for your feedback. There is an outside clothes line at the property in the back garden. There is garden furniture on the patio outside with the seat cushions in the property for use if required. Its not possible to widen the drive without encroaching on the neighbours property. The property does not have room for a dishwasher and a washing machine, most guests prefer a washing machine.I am sorry the property fell short of your expectations Property Owner

About the location

FLINT

Chester 13.1 miles; Liverpool 22 miles; Llangollen 24.9 miles.

Located in north-east Wales, lying on the estuary of the River Dee is the town of Flint, Flintshire’s third largest county town. Across the Dee, the Wirral can be seen from Flint, with views to the south of Halkyn Mountain. Flint’s name refers to the stony platform that the first castle built there was made from, and it is now a mixture of open countryside and bustling town. With excellent transport links you can easily access the neighbouring towns of Chester, Liverpool and even Manchester almost directly on the train, whilst still being close to notary places in North Wales like Llangollen, or Colwyn Bay. Flint has shops, pubs and restaurants, so you won’t have to venture far for everything you will need.
