A small, historical village that was the location where King Henry VIII and Prince Llewellyn signed a treaty in 1234 it is also home to a castle built in the early 1300's. It lies in the heart of Shropshire, nearly 9 miles north of Shrewsbury and about 20 miles north of the luscious Shropshire Hills. It is a fantastic location for outdoors people, boasting many stunning cycling and no less than six walking paths through the exceptional Shropshire countryside. From here you can also reach the market town of Ellesmere with its range of amenities and The Mere to be admired.
