Abersoch 2 miles. Two traditional, semi-detached cottages full of character and charm, with country, coastal and sea views, in a lovely headland position near Cilan and just two miles from the heart of the popular seaside resort of Abersoch on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. Lovingly restored by the existing owners, the cottages offer a warm Welsh welcome and are well-equipped with comfortable accommodation. They are a superb base for a family holiday. Both are beautifully decorated throughout, featuring exposed beams and joists and exposed whitewashed stonework and walls. Each cottage is set in an enclosed, lawned garden, which is surrounded by some lovely countryside and farmland. The gardens offer an ideal spot to enjoy a meal or drinks on a fine evening, after a day exploring the delights of the area. You are 1.5 miles from the beautiful sandy beach at Porth Ceiriad and there are cliff-top walks to be enjoyed within easy reach, plus the magnificent Wales Coast Path is close at hand. In a fantastic position for cycling, walking, fishing and wildlife-spotting, with the centre of popular Abersoch just two miles away, these are ideal cottages for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
