The property

Plas Madog Isa, in the Conwy Valley, is a great family holiday house.

Sitting in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the bustling town of Llanrwst, this unique house has won architectural awards for it’s design.

It also enjoys lovely views over fields towards the opposite side of the valley. The kitchen is modern and well equipped.

Like most rooms in the house, it has a glass door which opens out onto the garden. The large, comfortable sitting room is a lovely ‘feel good' room, with views across the valley.

On fine days, sunlight streams through the doors that open out onto the terrace. There are three good sized bedrooms.

On the ground floor there is a double room and a twin room with zip and link mattresses which can be made into a super king size bed.

On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle, loo and wash hand basin. The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room with loo and wash hand basin.

The large private garden is a lovely space to relax in.

On sunny days the terrace is a real sun trap.

There is much to see and do in and around this picturesque Welsh market town.

For food lovers, there is a delicatessen, a wine shop and a restaurant all on one road.

Nearby is Gwydir castle, a historic destination well worth a visit. For those looking for a bit more action, the Treetops adventure centre is a must, if you can stomach the heights!

Just 15 minutes' drive away is the popular Bodnant Gardens, which offers something different to admire with each season. This lovely holiday house provides the perfect base for exploring this stunning part of North Wales. The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.

About the location

LLANRWST

Betws-y-Coed 4 miles; Conwy 10 miles.

Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
