The beach at Llanfechain is a lovely stroll away and has a great beach cafe . Already booked again for next year.

  • "Although we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Crud y mor there were still some niggling issues."

Picture of the cottage deceiving ie:- looks like it is on a country lane and reads like with good sea views which it didn't have. Cottage itself was very clean, cosy and well equipped but does need some upgrading ie:- beds and some maintenance with windows and some outside work. All in all cottage is well situated as a base for visiting the surrounding areas of which there is plenty to see and do but llanfarfecon seriously needs some money and work spent on it, still an enjoyable experience.

Thank you for your review and for bringing the issues to our attention. Guests can view the property on the map to identify the location and research the area before booking. Investment in the local area is not in our control. We are fortunate to live in a beautiful area, boasting stunning mountains, and coastlines with an array of activities to suit everyone. The single mattresses are being upgraded to provide a better sleeping experience. The one sticking window has been resolved. The pictures of the sea view from the property accurately show partial sea views. The sea view from some positions from the house has become limited due to the growth of the hedging. This is the responsibility of the council to maintain. The garden is something we cannot always maintain fully as we would like, as during peak times the cottage is fully booked. With our amazing recent weather, the garden has flourished. Many thanks for your review and we hope you return to North Wales again. Vivien & Carl Property Owner

  • "What a wonderful property."

Well presented, very clean and perfectly placed to explore this part of the world. No where to eat out locally, however, with the best equipped kitchen out of all the place’s I have stayed in, this wasn’t too much of an issue, the slow cooker was invaluable. We didn’t make use of the outside seating as it was late October, but the garden was gorgeous. Good parking and very peaceful at night. Great welcome pack too.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed staying at our cottage and we hope you will return again in the future. Conwy is 10 minutes in car, taxi or bus and has lots of places to eat. There are a few places locally to eat such as The Riverside cafe, Pavilion cafe, the Seagrass restaurant and Afternoon 2 A Tea. The cottage was perfect and had everything that we could ask for it was clean and well situated. The welcome pack was just what we needed after a long journey. Llanfairfechan is a gem; it is somewhere we'd never previously considered in North Wales and we have holidayed in this area several times in the past. The Beach Pavilion and Riverside are both places we enjoyed locally, along with walking along the village roads and paths. The weather wasn't great but we still had one of the best holidays we've had. We avoided the rain and the cottage was such a lovely base to go back to.

This white-washed holiday home enjoys a blend of sea-views and countryside vistas and is near a beach, ideal for a family of six.

Step inside to the entrance hallway, where you can kick off your boots after a day exploring the gems of North Wales and locate the sitting room.

Relax and unwind on the plush sofa with a cup of tea and why not take advantage of your peaceful location and escape into a good book?

Moving through the home, discover the white-glossed kitchen, certain to entice budding chefs with its electric oven and gas hob; afterwards join together in the dining room and toast to your hideaway.

On warm evenings, a landscaped garden to the rear offers alfresco dining on the furniture whilst the younger ones play around the enclosed space.

As day draws to night, retire inside and climb upstairs, where you can take your pick between a double with an en-suite WC, another double and a twin bedroom, which is perfect children.

Awaken, with a refreshing rinse in the shower before enjoying a steaming cup of coffee in the garden, joined by the sound of birds chirping.

Take a short stroll to the long pebbly Traeth Llanfairfechan Beach to relish the sea-breeze or lace up your walking boots and explore the deep woods of Nant y Coed Local Nature Reserve, a fairy-like place with streams running through.

Jump in the car and visit the walled town of Conwy, hosting a sandy bay, an expansive golf course and the impressive Conwy Castle, where you can tour the 13th century building.

Visit the vibrant town of Llandudno for a lively promenade, great for fresh fish and chips, the natural beauty of the Great Orme and a pier hosting traditional arcades.
