  • "The perfect place to get away from it all."

. Rhug Villa was exactly as described, 3 good sized bedrooms(1 double, 1 twin & 1 single) with enough space in any to put up a travel cot. warm comfortable sitting room with good sized TV. Well equipped kitchen with dining table to seat 6. Vivian the owner is next door, very welcoming but not intrusive. Parking for at least 2 cars is a bonus, less that 5 minutes walk to local shop and closer still to the pub, about 10 minutes walk to the fantastic beach cove. WILL BE BOOKING AGAIN.

  • "Lovely stay in a lovely cottage."

Definitely the break we needed in such demanding times. Viv was fab and looked after us (especially staying up when our car had a flat tyre on the way up!) The open fire made us forget the cold outside and the views are splendid. Beach close by for walks and close to some lovely spots. Definitely recommend. (Shame Sykes have been so poor recently in my other trips, including last minute cancellations, as I don’t think I’ll be using Sykes again)

  • "We had a fabulous week at this cottage."

Viv the owner is on hand if you have any problems and is very friendly. The garden is lovely to sit in and soak up the sun. It was a nice walk to the local beaches which are beautiful. The hotel around the corner is really good for food and there is a sports bar attached. Would highly recommend.

  • "Fantastic location, brilliant coast and mountain walking even from the doorstep."

Owner pleasant and friendly but not at all obtrusive. Pleasantly surprised by property: photos do not do it justice. Bathroom has been completely refurbished and lovely new flooring in kitchen and dining area; new sofas in lounge.

The cottage is cosy, clean and comfortable and has everything that you need. All measures taken due to the Covid situation were very clear and we felt perfectly safe and assured. We will of course be back soon!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Rhug Villa."

The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed, a good heating system and comfortable king size bed. there are walks on the coastal path and a beach close by. There is a shop just around the corner and a hotel where you can have an excellent meal. Also try Nefyn brewery a little further down the road where they sell their own beers at good prices.

  • "Great place to base yourselves for a holiday with easy access to beautiful beaches and stunning countryside, including Snowdonia."

Easy walking distance (about10 mins) to the local beach, however due to a lack of facilities there (nowhere to buy any refreshments) we opted to drive to nearby Llanbedrog and Aberdaron beaches which were spectacular. Good basic accommodation with a lovely owner who lives next door if you were to have any questions about the property or places to go. Would definitely recommend.

  • "House itself not too bad."

No hot water. Unable to turn heating on if needed, needed to keep asking owner. Location not brilliant. Had hard job to find it. Although there is off road parking, you need a small car as not very wide. Would not go there again. Owner smoked and you could smell it through the adjoining door in the kitchen.
