"We’ve returned from an enjoyable weekend at Barn 3."
The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean but felt very tired. We stayed at the Turnip House last year which felt much fresher.
The hot tub area needs a good sweep and de-cobwebbing. It was very shabby. Sadly I caught my new swimsuit on a something sharp on the edge of one of the hot tub filters which I’m very unhappy about. I did mention this to the gentleman cleaning the hot tub who agreed to try and sort for us but the damage was already done to my ripped swimsuit.
The outdoor picnic bench needs tightening or replacing as it’s very unstable.
Despite these couple of negatives we had a comfortable stay.
Can you kindly advise who I need to contact to discuss reimbursement for a replacement swimsuit please. Happy to send you receipt of this very recent purchase. With thanks

"We had an amazing stay at Old Barn 3 - welcoming, clean, everything we needed was there, plus more."
the location is great, very quiet, but close to lots of amazing walks and pubs, spoilt for choice. we are very grateful the cottage was dog friendly so our well behaved pups could come too. the hot tub was also great, very clean, and very welcome after a long day of walking the Shropshire Hills. we are already looking at when we might come back!

"We never return to the same holiday cottage and always look for new locations; however this is the second time that we have stayed in Old Barn 3 and love it so much that I plan to come back again."
Although the barn is a teensy bit tired; it is comfortable and has absolutely everything that we needed for a pleasant stay - and the hot tub is one of the best that we have had the pleasure to use.
Along with the hot tub, the location is really what draws us back… we stayed here for a week on this occasion and with absolutely stunning walks on the doorstep and an OS Map app on our phone; we didn’t even use the car for half of our stay.
Even when we did use the car, we never had to drive more than 30 minutes away because there is so much to do locally; (stone circles; Much Wenlock, the prettiest town I have ever seen; various Abbeys and historic buildings; and more that we want to come back for.)
There is also an amazing Inn just a 2 minute walk up the road, not fancy at all… but the food was surprisingly good.
I’m going to be using all of my powers of persuasion to convince my better half to come back again next year - although I’m sure it shouldn’t be too difficult because he loves it here too!

Was great to have the hot tub indoors as we were using this in winter and it was no problem nipping out the door to the separate building to get to this. Enjoyed a wonderful family weekend.

"This was our first time at this Barn and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
It was extremely comfortable and spacious as there was only the 2 of us.
Would have liked some information on how the heating worked as the radiators came on in the morning, but we couldn't get the radiator to work in the bathroom so ended up drying the towels on the radiator in the corridor. Of an evening we used the electric heater in the living room.
The hot tub was lovely and used it a number of times when we returned from a day out. The views during the day are lovely. You do need footwear and possibly a dressing gown as you have to go outside to the hot tub as it is situated in the building next door, but it is undercover for this property.
2 minutes round the corner is the Yew Tree pub and the staff were friendly and the food good.
There are several walks in the area and a National Trust at Long Mynd/Cardingmill Valley. This also has a reservoir that you can go swimming in. The golf course has spectacular views but can be a bit uneven underfoot and watch out for the sheep and horses.
Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

"The perfect location for a quiet get away."
Spent a fantastic weekend spent with friends, stunning views and so many places to go nearby if you wanted to! So lovely to have a hot tub! My only wish was there to be more comfortable seating available in the living room for us to sit around and chat on the evening. Plenty of space to do this. Otherwise a beautiful cottage!!

Cottage well located for walks and pub. Only a short distance to Church Stretton, Ludlow, Ironbridge, Bridgenorth and Shrewsbury, all worth a visit - but best of all, walks and views over the surrounding hills.

"The barn was beautiful and well equipped."
Very spacious for six people. The hot tub area was great, well maintained and had comfortable seating for those who didn’t want to go in. Don’t be put off by the outdoor grassed space shared with Old Barn 4 - it is plenty big enough for both parties to use privately. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location is stunning and there is a lot to explore nearby. The food at the local pub was excellent. We loved our stay and hope to return when we can.

"Really lovely house, lots of character."
The hot tub was great, housed in a room so you can plan for English weather. The owner came and cleaned it for us when we were out.
Only one shower between 6 people was a stretch (but there are two toilets)

The barn is decorated beautifully and is very warm and welcoming.
Our barn had a hot tub which was under shelter and private.
There are lots of lovely walks nearby, with 2 national Trust parks within a 10 minute drive.

It was clean quiet and tranquil, with lots of places to be able to walk to or just to be able to chill and relax, please be aware that you have to go outside the property to get to another building for the hot tub so flip flops and a dressing gown would be advisable to take with you, as we thought there was a door to get directly to the hot tub

"Lovely break away with the two dogs."
Lots of places to walk nearby. Had a lovely meal at yew tree inn around the corner. Everywhere locally was dog friendly which was a bonus for us. Enjoyed the hot tub whilst staying and nice to have it indoors to shield us from the English weather. Just a point for anyone staying in future dogs are not allowed in kitchen downstairs which we weren't aware of when booking. Overally lovely time and would go baxk we would just stay in one of the others to have an enclosed garden from the stream as our dog is like a magnet to water.

Whilst here we visited the Severn Valley Railway, Enginuity @ Ironbridge, Attingham Park, Bridgnorth (cliff railway) and Ray’s Farm - all great for kids.
I would recommend bringing large towels, as the ones provided are a bit small, plus don’t forget a dressing gown to get you to and from the hot tub, bit chilly without!
