The Ship Inn Apartments

The Ship Inn Apartments rest in the peaceful village of Old Colwyn on the North Wales coast, offering three spacious and contemporary dwellings within a traditional three-storey building. Cleverly converted from a former Victorian inn, The Ship Inn Apartments all feature marvellous original features like the beautiful hardwood flooring, exposed beams and high ceilings, adding a sense of grandeur to your stay. Completing the layout is Ship 3 on the second floor, sleeping eight guests here, you can socialise together within the open-plan living space. Following days of adventures you can come together in the communal garden with plenty of seating for all and fire up the barbecue in summer! The beach is just a stone’s throw away, so you can delight in morning walks along the promenade before finding a spot on a sunny day to relax. Watersports are popular on Colwyn Bay Beach with paddle-boarding, sea-kayaking and jet-skiing all available, with further exciting activities to be found in the amazing Snowdonia National Park. Head to Adventure Parc Snowdonia to try their fantastic climbing walls, or enjoy a session on Europe’s only inland surf lagoon at Surf Snowdonia! Delight in trips over to lovely Llandudno, with walks or cycling up the Great Orme offering beautiful views and scenery, and the Great Orme Country Park at the summit being a great place for picnics. Ship 1 is one of three lovely apartments within The Ship Inn, a former Victorian inn, and being just a short walk from the beach and within reach of so many attractions, it's a great choice for your next family escape.

Old Colwyn is a sleepy seaside town located to the east of the larger coastal resort of Colwyn Bay. A wide promenade winds along the sweeping bay from Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay, with access to a long coastal cycle track, three miles of safe sandy beaches and the pier and harbour at Rhos-on-Sea. Nearby attractions include the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park with its fantastic indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a number of local golf courses, and a selection of restaurants and pubs in both Old Colwyn and Colwyn Bay.
