  • "Spotlessly clean and all the facilities anyone would need, and more."

Loved the decor. A very good welcome pack. The bed was comfortable but a bit cramped to get in and out of on one side. We are an elderly couple and hence the lounge settee and chairs were too low for comfort and they were hard after a time. Hence we needed to double up on the settee cushions to sit one person comfortably and then all the scatter cushions were used on one chair to make the other comfortable seat.

Glad you found the cottage clean and that you enjoyed the welcome pack. A pity you didn't mention the need for extra cushions as I would have been able to find you some. Nice meeting you both All the best In Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at Bwlch Yr Awel Cottage."

It was a very quiet and peaceful location and the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. The owners who live next door popped round to check everything was okay shortly after we arrived, but left us to our own devices for the week. It was nice to see only mountains and some sheep as our view from the back of the house. Although there is a main road to the front of the property we noticed very little noise. All in all an ideal place for a quiet break and I would happily return.

Thanks for your review, we always like to make sure our guests are comfortable and are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will be happy to see you should you wish to return All the best Ian and Jill Property Owner

  • "The cottage really was lovely."

I wasn't expecting it to be so nice inside but it had everything we needed and was really cosy. There was also plenty of free space in cupboards for our food as well as a freezer, some places we have been have only had one tray. Cleaning products were supplied too which were much appreciated. The location was great as it was on the main road, this meant not getting stuck on any smaller one way roads. We could hear a little of the traffic at night but only if we opened the window. We were able to visit Anglesea, Conwy, Caernarfon, Harlech, Porthmadog, lakes and mountains around Snowdonia National Park amd Greenwood's family fun Park which rained most of the day but we still had fun. Lots of waterfalls. We recommend getting Welsh Herritage, especially if you can use your Tesco vouchers as it's then free to visit Conwy, Caernarfon and Harlech castles. We have 2 children aged 4 and 7, they both loved everything, the cottage and the places we visited. It rained a LOT of the week but we went out everyday most days 9 till 6 ish. Just take wet trousers and lots of coats and hats and you don't notice. We also got to see rainbows and when the sun did come out the area looks even more spectacular. 100 percent worth it in any weather.
