This lovely wing is attached to the owners’ home on working livestock farm, close to the village of Bodelwyddan, within reach of the city of St Asaph and the North Wales coast.

Bod Del Cottage is an ideal base for a couple with plenty to see and do nearby, whatever your interest.

You enter this single-storey cottage via the back door into a room that can be used for boot and coat storage and then it’s into the main part of the holiday home.

The hub of this welcoming cottage is the open plan living area with a cosy sitting area with Freeview TV, a quaint breakfast bar and a modern kitchen.

The bedroom has a double bed and mirrored wardrobes and completing the accommodation is a shower room.

Outside is a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and if you’re bringing horses then there is a two acre pasture land available by arrangement with the owner.

The small village of Bodelwyddan has a selection of shops and a pub, along with a wonderful church and a castle which is well worth visiting.

There are walking routes in the area, and the small city of St Asaph is home to a cathedral, riverside parkland, gift shops, pubs and restaurants.

A number of seaside resorts are also within reach, and you may wish to explore the Snowdonia National Park or even cross the border into England and visit the historic city of Chester.

The small village of Bodelwyddan is situated in the Vale of Clwyd and is known for Bodelwyddan Castle which is set in 260 acres of woods and parkland and is home to the National Portrait Gallery and St Margaret’s Church, nicknamed as The Marble Church which was built in 1856 and erected by Lady Willoughby de Broke. Bodelwyddan also has a pub, a selection of shops and a golf driving range. The nearby village of Rhuddlan has the remains of a castle that dates back to the 13th century and was built by Edward I. The area is renowned for scenic walks along the Clwydian Hill range or Offa’s Dyke pathway. Discover the nearby beaches of North Wales, the city of St Asaph and visit Victorian Llandudno, 16 miles away, with its famous promenade, or explore Conwy Castle, Bodnant Gardens or delightful Betws-y-Coed, the getaway to Snowdonia.
