“First off the cottage and the village it is set in are beautiful.”

Cottage finished to a really high standard. With bed sheets and plates from John Lewis. Plenty of space for a couple and dog(us) Fire was beautiful. Kitchen enough space for a holiday. Washing machine and dishwasher clean and ready to use. No tumble they do provide a heated clothes horse that you plug in and electric radiators which kick out a lot of heat. When we first arrived we were met with a damp smell from the down stairs bathroom however we brought a cheap candle and it got rid of it. Bathroom has underfloor heating and turned out to be an amazing extra. The bath is tiny due to the size of the bathroom. The shower which is in the bath is also very low due to a low ceiling I’m 5”8 and it I felt like a giant. A minor down side. Whilst in the village please use the Pub, family owned by couple who travel from London every week to open it as they have fallen in love with the village and I’m sure you will too.
