  • "The cottage had NOT been cleaned prior to our arrival."

Our long awaited 1st family holiday to find old cans and a flip flop under the sofa! We cleaned the cottage before unpacking! The cottage itself offered great views, lovely scenery and fairly close to the beach. Sykes were extremely helpful throughout the booking procedure and information was prompt. Such a shame to give a poor review due to cleanliness. Spoiled the start of our holiday.

  • "Property is fully furnished."

And got lots of stuffs which don’t need for holiday accommodation. Got a bill says few things missing and damaged. If you are going with chicken, you better avoid this place. Unless you kids can behave like adults by not touching any items in the house.

  • "Holiday home the owners should be proud of."

Amazing location, top of the Orm, so if walking up is not ur bag, get a taxi like we did, £3.50. So spacious and comfortable, all the amenities you could ask for. We loved it and have booked for New Year.

  • "Just spent a wonderful week at Horeb Chapel."

Everything you could possibly require (and more!) was provided. A real home from home. Beautiful location with views to the top of the Great Orme and wonderful views of Llandudno from just around the corner. Everything was extremely comfortable. Lovely squishy sofas and a large TV. Kitchen was very well equipped and appliances easy to use. A word of warning for anybody taking dogs - the sheep and goats from the field next door quite often jump over the wall into the garden so do check first before letting your dog outside. My dog is old and lazy so he just watched them through the conservatory window but if you have a more lively dog who is likely to chase them, it could cause problems. We were blessed with a beautiful week weatherwise. Plenty to see and do in the area. The only downside was the steep steps into and out of each bedroom which was OK for us but might cause problems for people with mobility issues. Would love to visit again one day.

  • "A wonderful secluded cottage, overlooking the Orm, and a mile (or less?"

) from the beach. Well appointed, friendly neighbours and very comfortable beds. We had a fab time with visit from the goats. One thing to note is that the bathrooms are downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. This was absolutely fine by us, but may be an issue for others. All in all a fantastic week away, thank you

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Horeb Chapel."

The holiday home was very well equipped and a really good size for accommodating our party of seven and two dogs. The views from the home are terrific - the Great Orme and cable cars - and though in a quiet area all facilities needed were found nearby. The only minus point for the accommodation was that the bathrooms were downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs which could be a problem for older people and small children. All in all though I would recommend this property.

  • "Fantastic cottage with a real home from home vibe."

You really don’t need to pack heavy coming here. The cottage had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Was really impressed with the amount of cleaning products available, and you could tell that it had been thoroughly cleaned prior - it was spotless - which was very reassuring to us during these uncertain times. Neighbours were very friendly (even the goats and sheep who made a regular visit to the garden which the kids loved). A bbq and firepit available to use which we took advantage of as we had perfect weather. Close to all local amenities, and close to attractions.. One of our guests left a bag with important belongings in, Dave messaged me, offered to post, and the bag was back with the owner by the Tuesday - excellent customer care. All in all a brilliant stay - and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again

Spotlessly clean and cold in a beautiful location. Need to be aware of the very steep road leading to the house though , wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with mobility issues I would highly recommend this house though

The property was extremely comfortable and homely and we had no issues at all. There were 6 adults and 1 dog and we all had plenty of room and the facilities were ample.

  • "There was an unpleasant 'dogs' odour soon as we walked in which we attributed to the throws and scatter cushions on the sofa's, which we had to remove."

There was cobwebs in every room in the house. The cleanliness in the lounge and kitchen was acceptable but once we went into the utility and shower room area it was quite unclean, cluttered and one of the toilet seats was broken. Both myself and my Niece had to scrub the shower trays and clean both shower rooms as they were dusty and the mirrors and floors were dirty. The bedrooms were clean and adequate and the heating in the bedrooms was good. However downstairs was very cold and it was far too cold in the dining area as there is no radiator in there. The property is obviously part way through renovation/decorating, perhaps if that work was finished it would look and feel much cleaner. A major concern was that there is no WC upstairs and this was a problem for us, as 3 of our party are elderly and having to go up and down the stairs through the night was just too much. This was not mentioned at all in the specifications of the facilities. Had it been, we would not have booked this property in the first place. The location and size of the property was perfect

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
