"Overall a lovely apartment super clean and the welcome pack was fabulous."
The kitchen was the best we've seen so far with everything needed to create meals and the showers were amazing. Only downside was the bunk beds which were very squeaky to the point of the children waking up when one of then moved

"Overall, the accommodation was excellent, if a little 'cosy', and very convenient for walking to the prom, town and the Great Orme as well as three excellent pubs within a few minutes stroll."
We thought the parking was going to be an issue but York Road is only a few minutes walk away and £4.70 for 24hours - a bargain.
We did have a scare one evening when we were sitting in the living area & there was a tremendous noise and vibration which seemed to shake the whole room (one of the light fittings was shaking as though it was going to come down!) It happened twice within a few minutes and I can only assume that the people above us were using the washing machine/spindryer. It could definitely do with having some insulation underneath it to deaden the sound and absorb the vibration.
Its a shame we didn't find the board games provided before the last evening-great selection even for 'big kids'! The little extras were very thoughtful and the welcome drinks & snacks yummy!!
Hi Guys,
Really sorry I didn't respond sooner, but hopefully better late than never...? Also sorry about the noise from the washing machine from above.
To up-date you:
1. The washing machines have now been fitted with rubber dampeners and this seems to have resolved the problem.
2. The property description now identifes that board games are provided.
Other Changes:
An additional pedistal fan is now provided in living room, and mattress toppers available on request.
All the best,
Richard/Owner. Property Owner

"The apartment is well located for easy access to the beach, shops and tram/walks on the Great Orme."
The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable. My wife and I are regular holiday visitors to Llandudno and we will definitely stay at the same apartment on our next visit if it is available.

"A clean and stylish apartment in a very handy position."
Although not a large flat, we found it fine for three adults, with two bathrooms (excellent showers), and a well laid out kitchen. Would definitely go again.

"The flat was lovely very comfortable there wasn’t anything we didn’t have."
Having 2 bathrooms and toilets was a bonus. The location was excellent although we had to park in the street we always found somewhere to park. One suggestion if you wanted to eat out I would book a restaurant for your stay early as many were booked up. Having said that every restaurant we used were great.

"We had a wonderful visit to Llandudno, and Manhattan Midtown was a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located base for our excursions."
The flat is beautifully designed with a well-equipped modern kitchen and fantastic rain-head shower in the master bedroom ensuite. We enjoyed the lovely toiletry gift bags and bathrobes, and the bed was the right mix of firm and soft, best sleep in ages. The best surprise was the welcome hamper of beverages and snacks, which, with crackers, cheese, juice and beer included a much appreciated bottle of sparkly, just the thing for an anniversary toast after a long day on trains. You don't need a car to get around, as the flat is an easy walk from the station, and very close to the main beach and pier. For a world-class sandy beach with fantastic views, stroll over to the West shore. As the Tram for the Great Orme was not in operation, and we weren't brave enough for the Cable Car, we took a city bus up for a couple of pounds and walked back down-- fantastic views, a must see! The Elephant cave in Happy Valley Park is worth finding if you can manage a mild hike. We had a lovely sunny day visiting the castle and medieval town of Conwy, just another short bus ride away. In the evenings we made good use of the TV and video library offered at the flat. I would come here again, so much more to see nearby, and highly recommend the Manhattan House.

"The facilities were very good."
The flat is well-appointed, with good double bed, decent showers, nice kitchen and lovely bay window. The Alexa was a welcome addition to our holiday. We spent some really good family time together, climbing the Orme, strolling on the pier, sitting on the beach and eating out in Llandudno. A peaceful and very welcome break. The Manhattan Apartment (Midtown) is somewhere that we could stay in again. Recommended.

"Llandudno is a salubrious, Victorian seaside town - the San Sebastian of the UK, no doubt - and this apartment is right in the middle of things."
It is extremely well located. The place is spick and span and feels completely Covid safe. Dettol wipes are provided in the hallway and also in the apartment where hand gel is also provided. Everytime we came in we simply cleaned the door and the bannisters with a wipe.
The apartment is extremely well equipped with crockery, glassware and kitchenware. The wi-fi is excellent but EE mobile phone signal was poor so wi-fi calls should be activated.
The rooms are adequately sized but occasionally we felt a little cramped (two adults and a teenager). We put items that we didn't need into cupboards and on top of wardrobes. The dining table is small and above waist height (seating on stools) so somewhat crowded at mealtimes. The kitchen counter is right next to the table so there are no insurmountable difficulties.
There is no parking outside during the day but we parked for 5 minutes while we unloaded. There is 24/7 free parking in residential streets, away from the sea, and 3 minutes walk from the apartment.
The owner is friendly and generous (fridge contained milk, biscuits, Prosecco, Welsh fudge and other treats!) and he calls up on the entry phone to check all is well shortly after guests' arrival. He supervises changeovers to make sure that all is well. The place is very well cared for.
This is an excellent holiday apartment, located in a fabulous seaside town. Thoroughly recommended.

"Lovely town house in the heart of Llandudno so ideal for staying if you don't have a car."
Downside is there is no parking as it is located in a tight road and I followed the instructions in the listing and parked to Town Hall car park first night which is 3 mins walk. However I realized that there are no parking restrictions on the road behind the apartment so I parked my car there for free in the next 3 nights. You can find a space if you are lucky because all hotels and BBs seem too be full in the summer so it is really busy. In terms of the house, we struggled to enter the flat because we received a password for the flat door so I thought when you enter the password the door will open, but it didn't ! I couldn't reach to the landlord from the phone number provided within key collection instructions, the number wasn't working so called Sykes cottages customer service. The gentleman on the phone couldn't reach the landlord either but he helped us to discover how to open the door. That keypad was actually a locker , not connected to the door, the keys were in it but it got stuck for some reason that's why we couldn't open its lid for some time. At the end we managed to open to locker and got the keys. So this is my only criticism that the key collection instructions were not open, the locker caused some issues and the phone number provided wasn't working. With regards to the house, I chose this house because the floor wasn't carpet, it was in the heart of the town and looked very clean from the photos. I wasn't disappointed. Very happy with the cleanness during these difficult times. We are a small family of 3 but a family of 4 can also stay in the house. It was a pleasant surprise to see the landlord after our arrival with glass of drinks, some cheese and snacks which he left us. All restaurants are in the parallel road so it takes a min to go to them if you prefer to eat outside. So location wise, it is perfect except parking issue. If I go to Llandudno again, I would definitely stay in this flat.

"Lovely apartment in the centre of town, handy for all local attractions, shops, cafes, restaurants etc."
Could not fault it in any way. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. It had everything we needed - the welcome pack was a lovely addition. No parking at property (which we knew about in advance) but we were able to stop directly outside to pack and unpack car so not a problem. We were able to park without any problem in the next street. Although it is centrally located we had no issue with any noise - bedrooms are at the rear of the property.

"We had a fantastic stay at Mid Town."
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and we loved the Manhattan theme. We were delighted with the generous welcome gifts and everything we needed was provided. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the location ideal, allowing us to walk to all the local attractions and restaurants in minutes. We left our car at the 24 hour car park (very reasonable) just a few minutes walk away and didn't need it for our short break. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to come back before too long.
