  • "Mountain Peace is ideally located up at Stiperstones next to the pub and shop, allowing for a holiday for a family of all ages."

The cottage is cosy and well equipped. We love the easy parking just outside which means off- loading your luggage is so easy. We like the downstairs bedroom with the excellent shower room, but there are another two upstairs plus a separate toilet! This was our 3rd Christmas and it won’t be the last! The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas with tree and crackers!

  • "An amazing property, and the best equipped one that we have ever stayed at."

Plenty of everything that we needed. Very clean and comfortable and exactly as described. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The quality of the duvets and bedding was fantastic. Plenty of towels were available too. The decor was lovely and the fact that there were 3 bathrooms has set the bar very high for future properties that we may book. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. Thank you.

  • "We absolutely loved this property."

It’s spacious, tastefully decorated, light, airy, comfortable and generally very well equipped. The garden provided a comfortable place to chill out in warm weather with lovely views. My only suggestions for improvement for this house would; a food waste caddy for the kitchen, more cutlery (even for 3 people there wasn’t enough without running the dishwasher everyday, which wasn’t necessary otherwise) and bedside tables both sides of all of the double beds. A large table and chairs with parasol for eating outside would have been the icing on the cake. The location is quiet but not remote, at the heart of the village. The owners, Hayley and David were welcoming, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The pub across the road is welcoming, the home cooked food, freshly made and reasonably priced, the staff friendly. The little shop is an Aladdin’s Cave full of most of what you need, including many supermarket brands at very reasonably priced, most unusual for an “out of the way” corner shop- and often open late. Finally the stunning countryside on the door step is so easily accessible from the front door and stunning to behold. We will be back!

  • "Beautiful cottage, well-equipped and spotlessly clean."

Great layout for a multi-generational group with en suite double bedroom downstairs and two family bedrooms upstairs, with 2 further bathrooms and play area for the children. We had the bonus of fantastic warm weather so the large, contained garden was where we spent most of our days! A barbecue would have been a nice addition. The log burner and Netflix make for cosy evenings once inside! The local shop has every daily essential we needed and supermarket online delivery for the rest. The pub is a matter of steps away from the cottage, very friendly staff and hearty food. Would thoroughly recommend Mountain Peace - it’s idyllically quiet and, in nice weather, a delight to be in the garden!

  • "Very pleasant holiday cottage."

It was very suitable four 3 couples as we all had our own bathroom or showers. Nice touch to have three settees too. Excellent walks in the area. Pub is a stone throw away as is the village shop at the end of the pub. Parking for 3 cars is you are sensible.

Thankyou so much for the lovely feedback . The cottage is restricted to two cars as when three cars are parked it is extremely difficult to exit safely and cars either end up reversing into the village grass area which makes a mess or on a couple of occasions actually stuck in the brook ! So sorry we can’t allow three cars . Property Owner

Because of location, internet is via radio frequency, so can experience occasional drop outs in poor weather, but the owners are super helpful in resolving any issues and even posted some items I'd left behind. It has an under the counter fridge, with separate freezer in the utility, is very well equipped, both in the kitchen and in terms of books and games, and the beds are very comfortable.
