“We would return tomorrow to this ...”

We would return tomorrow to this lovely cottage , in fact we didn’t want to leave and would have stayed another week if it hadn’t already been booked. We would return tomorrow to this lovely cottage , in fact we didn’t want to leave and would have stayed another week if it hadn’t already been booked. We really enjoyed the peace, tranquility and views from the property away from the hustle and bustle of Llangollen. It was surrounded by trees and wildlife, a real haven of peace. It was within walking distance of two lovely hotels where we had good bar snacks in the evening as long as you didn’t mind the walk uphill on the way back! Both hotels had stunning views from the terrace. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness and facilities inside the cottage. The only slight downside was the parking which was a little further up the road ( but the owners left us the keys for the garage to accommodate our bikes.) We had some great bike rides from the door but where pleased we had electric bikes for the return journey uphill. Both the area and the cottage are so beautiful we can’t wait to return. Thank you again for everything and also for the bottle of wine and welsh cakes so kindly left for us.

The property

Llangollen 1 mile.

This beautiful detached cottage is situated in the little scattered hamlet of Berwyn, just one mile from the popular town of Llangollen.

Located on a leafy lane in a wooded, elevated position, and wrapped in hillside and countryside views.

Perfect for couples, families or even friends to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Upon entering, a warm, welcoming sitting room is home to a wood burner which creates a relaxing ambience, and a cosy sofa where you can rest in the evening hours.

A pretty dining area lies close by, overlooked by subdued lighting for an all round peaceful effect.

Across the way, a well appointed kitchen holds a lovely slate floor, integrated appliances and a breakfast bar where you can sit and enjoy a warm drink in the morning time whilst watching TV.

A utility room rests off from this, along with a cloakroom that boasts a characterful stone feature wall.

Take the stairs up to the individually styled bedrooms, the first showcases a double bed, with a serene atmosphere, ideal for reading a book before drifting into a good nights sleep.

This room is tied together by views of the valley resting in the distance.

Neighbouring this, a twin bedroom is uplifted by cool calming colours for a refreshing finish.

A well designed bathroom hosts both a shower and a double ended bath for your convenience, also situated on this floor.

When the weather is nice, why not relax on the patio area's outside, next to the fire and take in the scenery.

You may also want to explore the cycle paths and amenities of the local village.

Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops.

Stroll up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town for more landscape views.

Enjoy the tranquillity of this heart-warming location.
