  • "The 2 single mattresses on the king size bed were old and uncomfortable with no mattress protector, toaster did not work, very dusty surfaces."

Due to layout toilet next door and water heater noise plus building work ongoing in ground floor accommodation which I was not informed about. The route from the south cannot be done at present due to a very long term road closure at Rhostryfan.

  • "The only downfall was the bathroom had a consistent smell which we thought could have been a drain."

We had to leave the bathroom door shut for most of the stay at the smell was strong at times and close to bed and kitchen. Second thing was poor signpostage, the place itself was signposted well but it may have helped to have the separate apartments signposted as we arrived late and had to ring the owner for directions. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place was warm, comfortable and cosy and the views were incredible! Absolutely beautiful location!

  • "Damavand Dylluan is a lovely, comfortable apartment, perfect for a getaway for two."

It is very tastefully decorated with neutral tones and wood flooring. The heating and hot water are excellent. The bed is comfortable and we enjoyed some cosy evenings in on the sofa, watching the TV. The bathroom is very modern and sparkling clean though it would benefit from shelving and a bigger mirror mounted on the wall. I really appreciated the large chest of drawers to store my clothes. The kitchen is a little run-down and lacked some basics like bowls that could be put in the microwave. Really, the kitchen could do with a refurb to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the apartment. However we managed very well with what we had. Please note it's absolutely essential to follow the instructions for getting there as it was a little difficult to find especially as we arrived after dark. We will book there again as we really enjoyed ourselves. It has a garden which would have been great for the summer. The track in is a little rough but nothing to worry about.

Dont be put off by comments on farm track to get to cottage, its the same as them all in that area and nothing to worry about. The access adds to the adventure of this place A great place to stay

  • "Overall, it’s a good experience."

we were two adults and two infants. We really love this place. It was suitable for us. We found bit difficulty to reached our destination. Please don’t follow google maps. Quiet and really lovely place to stay. ( kids toys, extra heater were available ). Cottage located in the heart of Snowdon. Snowdon mountain, trains, gipsy wood kids park were in 30 mints radius. Tesco , morrisons, coop and local shop located in 4 miles radius. Easy to approch everywhere. Cottage were found in clean and well organized. It’s suitable for all age of persons. Overall i spent a good time with my partner/kids and really enjoyed to stayed there.

  • "There were comments on feedback about the private road causing issues with car tyres, so we were a little worried as our car is a very low suspension sports car - there was no problem at all with the private road."

The appartment is up a very steep staircase, effectively you are in the hay loft, just my opinion that you would be safer with a ladder (what fun!). The combination oven, wow, tucked away under the sink - we were so glad we brought our slow cooker - we read others feedback. But this is a wonderfully situated, quiet, isolated location, truly off road and perfectly suited for newly weds (or those celebrating 20 years of marital bliss). There are some neighbours, beware of naturists - a common sighting whilst we were there

  • "Although the location of the property was well described, when I arrived it was not clear which apartment I was meant to go to."

The property was very basic, the TV reception was appalling and the water heater was not working. The owner was very good and for it sorted the following day. However the water tank then started to develop a leak. I felt like I was paying for the privilege of being a caretaker of the property, sorting out it's problems. I did not expect the kitchen and shower area to be so small neither the living area to be part of the bedroom

  • "It is quite difficult to find even with the owners description ."

..perhaps a google maps link to the property, however saying this I was being directed by twenty year old son who struggles with the concept of left and right. The views are amazing they really are, there is no oven but this really isn’t a hassle. The apartment is fairly central for everything you could want, there is a Tesco’s and Morrison’s within easy reach by car. The only downside was that a sofa bed was advertised, however either I couldn’t operate the thing or it was indeed just a sofa (looked brand new ), saying that though the bed was extremely comfortable.

  • "Accomodation could have some info on places to walk and cycle nearby."

A hoover, brush and towel rail would have been useful. Good value place to stay

  • "A very calm place."

The owner does not answer the phone I tried 10 times to contact him. There was a leaky toilet in the bathroom, I had to listen to the loud noise of the water 24 hours a day .On the day of my arrival at 3 am, the flat should be ready for my reception and I had to wait about an hour for the cleaner to finish cleaning. The area is beautiful but I can not recommend this particular apartamene.

  • "The one room Apartment was very basic."

Very steep steps up into the property. Very small kitchen area only large enough for one person to enter. No oven but it did have a microwave under the sink which you have to use whilst on your knees. No windows but did have a skylight. I will not be returning. NB The double bed and sofa bed are in the one room.

  • "We found the accommodation was in a really central position for both the coast and the mountains."

The apartment was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was finished to a high standard and generally we had everything we needed, however I hadn't picked up on the fact there was no oven, which was fine as we weren't there to cook cordon bleu meals, it was just that we had bought some food items that needed an oven, it was quite interesting cooking chicken Kiev on the BBQ. The only other thing it would have been nice to have a blind on the roof window to darken the apartment at night. Having said all of that we really enjoyed our stay and for what we paid it was very good value.

  • "Although the room was lovely, and located in a rural area it didnt stipulate just how rural, the track we had to drive down shredded one of our tyres, so this was a cost we hadn't really anticipated."

I think it should be much clearer that half a mile of track is completely off road and not suited for a small car.

  • "This is a lovely little apartment which we easily used as a base for our holiday and it comfortably accommodated our family of 2 Adults and 2 young children."

Excellent directions to find the apartment, inside was clean, warm and it was really useful to have linens provided. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable week's stay. I would happily stay here again as it was ideally sited to reach a range of attractions by car.
